Welcome to our spacious river front cottage - the perfect choice for your getaway, no matter the season! This family-friendly 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home is located just steps from the river and is conveniently located to all the activities the Crystal Mountain Resort has to offer.

In the winter, hit the downhill or cross-country ski trails, or take to the snow on a snowmobile. And in the summer, take a kayak out on the river, visit nearby wineries and breweries, hit the ATV trails, do some shopping, or head to the nearby Resort spa - the options are endless.

When you're not out enjoying the great outdoors, our cottage has everything you need to relax with your loved ones. The large and well-stocked kitchen is perfect for creating fun meals with the family, while the ample living and dining areas provide a comfortable and open area to relax and unwind. Step outside to the private patio and enjoy a soak in the hot tub, a BBQ or get inspired by the beautiful river views to create something amazing.

Great location to Crystal Mtn. / Betsie River

Loved the location and the Betsie River running behind property. Family had a great time skiing at nearby Crystal Mtn. followed by a relaxing time in the hot tub.

*Great Cabin* close to skiing!

This property was fantastic for our family snowboard trip! About 4 minutes from Crystal Mountain, it offered a quiet setting in the woods away from the busyness of the slopes. We cooked our meals and could shuttle back and forth to the resort throughout the day for breaks. Everything was very clean and so well equipped. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot to stay for our honeymoon!

The house itself is well supplied, super clean, quiet, and well located! Easy check in and check out process. We loved the screened in deck a lot. The location was great for us as it is near both Traverse City area as well as Manistee. The Best part for us is that it is dog friendly!

Amazing time

Everything that may have been forgotten, was ready for us, including things I didn't think of. It was just nice to wake up, have coffee, sit on the porch and watch the river. It's a great place and look forward to a summer visit.

Cozy Cabin

We absolutely loved being snowed in our cozy cabin. Being close to skiing was great and the kids absolutely loved the river and hot tub. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place to vacation

This property is perfect for a friends and family reunion. We had people from all over the country come visit, and everyone enjoyed their stay. Everything was thought of and provided for. Perfect Pet Friendly location

Great location to Crystal Mountain and very pet friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to see dog bowls available for use as we forgot ours at home. Will definitely book again if we come back to Crystal Mountain.

Crystal Mountain Winter Fun

Really great setup in a picturesque river environment. Had agreat time with family and friends. Just minutes from Crystal Mountain. Hot tub was amazing. Plenty of space. The owners thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen if you want to stay in & cook. Would definitely rent again.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Betsie Bliss. The home was clean and had modern upgrades while maintaining the rustic cottage feel. A short drive to Crystal Mountain and easy in and out. The hot tub was a great way to relax after skiing and the burbling river makes it super peaceful. I'd definitely rent here again and recommend to others.

Wonderful for the family

We had an amazing stay in michigan at this property in August. It was in a very peacful location on the river and well stocked for a family with a dog and toddler. Our pups loved playing in the river and the house was so welcoming for dogs. Our toddler also had fun in the river and eating meals on the screened in porch. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Very Peaceful

We had a such a nice experience. Very close to all the places we love to visit. House was excellent and we spent most of our time on the screened in porch when we weren’t out exploring. John was super responsive and helpful. Would stay again! Thanks for a great time!

Our New Favorite Vacation Spot!

My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!! This VRBO was immaculately cleaned, spacious, with all of the household items you’d possibly need. Games galore, spectacular views, and the host is quick to reply & incredibly kind. I recommend booking 10/10!! And while you’re here — check out the Iron Fish Distillery! We can’t wait to come back & stay here again!

Amazing place

The Betsie cottage was perfect in so many ways. It had everything we could possibly need for the two weeks we were there. And the dogs loved it too! It was close enough to enjoy hikes every day in beautiful parks and explore the Michigan small towns for restaurants and things to do. If we weren’t so far away I’d be there every year!

Great cabin on the river

We enjoyed our stay at this great cabin on the river. Close to skiing, the hot tub was great, and the house was fully stocked with everything you could need. One warning in snowy/icy weather - the driveway is a bit of a hill and the car we had with front wheel drive needed a push to make it out. So, 4WD is probably advisable in the Winter at this property.

Perfect river getaway

This property is amazing and you won't be disappointed. You only need to bring your clothes and food. It's well appointed with all the necessary amenities and more. The property is very clean. Great Family Getaway

We had a great long weekend at the Betsie Bliss! The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We were even surprised with a hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and with high quality dish ware. They even had dishes for the kids. The yard was great for the kids and plenty of privacy. The location was closer to the main road than we expected and we were able to hear some traffic but during the week it was quiet but it still had that up north feel. Overall great stay, our kids had an amazing time
