Rebecca is wonderful to work with--she's very responsive and helpful. This was our second stay in the cabin and we'd love to make it an annual tradition. The cabin is spacious, well-stocked and very well-maintained. The location is wonderfully quiet and feels secluded.
The property was great and secluded. I can’t say enough great things about the property manager and their communication. We will definitely be back to this property. 10/10.
We took our adult kids and 2 grandkids there and we all enjoyed the location, lovely house, relaxing setting, river view, fire pit and more! I highly recommend Iron Fish Distillery too!
We had an awesome time at this beautiful cabin. Perfect for the whole family! You can tell the host goes above and beyond for their guests. We definitely will be back!
The property was beautiful, relaxing and very spacious! We had 6 adults, 5 children and an infant with us during our stay and there was plenty of room (and bathrooms) for all of us! We loved hanging out on the back deck and going down to the river.
My friends and I loved the spot. We were close to golf and fishing. We had a great time relaxing in the river and catching up around the campfire. Would definitely recommend and we will return!
This place was great for our big family. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Three bathrooms were great. Kitchen was well stocked even though we didn’t cook anything. We just ate our breakfast there. The only problem we had was our GPS said we arrived but it was the property before the one we needed. Also the address numbers by the road had one number missing. All in all a great place. Just know you are not close to anything such as gas stations and stores.
Great location!! Beautiful house, plenty of room for everyone and great spot for fishing . House was clean and everything was just as it was listed . Very friendly Host and very responsive . Would definitely stay again.
Area was very quiet and relaxing. Kitchen dishes etc were more than adequate. Even had a crockpot for our use! Beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was the lack of a gas grill. Overall, pleased with our stay
This cabin exceeded our expectations. There were so many thoughtful amenities and the whole place was designed for a great stay. We had a rainy weekend and were actually happy that it gave us an excuse to stay at the cabin rather than go to the beach.
We enjoyed the property it has plenty of room for me and my friends. The river had salmon hanging out at the dock and that's would I was there to do fish for salmon so it was nice to go right out to the dock to fish.
great cabin with plenty of room inside and out. clean and friendly neighborhood. the entire process went as smooth as possible and no complaints from anyone in our group
We had a great time in this quiet cabin. The fishing was great. Only recommendation would be to address the stairs to the river. Still an awesome place.
Our stay was so nice! The iron fish distillery is a mile away. It’s secluded with the beautiful river with easy access to the river. Location is great if you don’t want to stay in Sleeping Bear Dunes or Traverse but want to enjoy those locations for a day trip.
We absolutely loved staying here. The cabin was beautiful, clean, well stocked. All 14 of us women slept comfortably. The property with the beautiful river was so peaceful. Close to fun places including Frankfort, the beach and Ironfish. Communication with Rebecca was great, she responded so quickly when we had a question!
Beautiful home! It was so much more than we expected. Beautiful interior with so much interest. For a larger group nice features were an entry where extra items could be placed and then there was another area for extra stuff. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and this home is top of list of you are looking for a remote relaxing location. Our kids tubbed down the river!
Host was very responsive and quick with answers to my questions. Property was very clean and well supplied. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our 2 families of 4 plus grandparents. Kids had fun swimming in the river. Great proximity to crystal mountain and sleeping bear dunes. The temps were in the mid 80’s and muggy with out much breeze so the upstairs bedrooms were quite warm at night. We really appreciated the numerous fans. No A/C. Overall it was a perfect house for our stay.
We loved our time at this cabin! We had enough room for three families and the grandparents comfortably. The house was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. The linens and sheets were clean and fresh. There was a fan in every room, which helped on the hot days. The fire pit was in great location. The back deck was really enjoyable with a beautiful view. The river was beautiful and we did walk through one evening. Be warned that right under the dock the water is deep and when you get into the river from the ladder the river bottom gets very slippery - so wear water shoes.
Property was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Owner communication was very responsive. Very quiet retreat overlooking the Betsie River. Deck was our favorite part and plenty of room with tables and chairs to accommodate everyone. Cabin had a great "up north" feel to it and plenty of room with all utensils that we needed. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
