“Scout’s House” cabin on 2 acres Dog Friendly!

"The host is very prompt with responses, helpful and friendly. This place is even better than you see in the pictures. The kitchen is awesome and has top end appliances and kitchenware. We did not bring a dog, but the cabin is definitely dog friendly and so clean you wouldn't know if a previous renter had dog(s) stay with them. Will definitely rent this place again next year."

"My husband and I, both in our late 70's, thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin retains its old historic core, which gives it warmth and character and is situated in a beautiful setting. It has been updated thoughtfully in ways to make it very functional. Everything that one needs is here and Sandy is a good communicator.One thing worth noting; we opted not to use the upstairs bedrooms because of the stairs which are quite steep. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, so there was no need to push ourselves.There are plenty of reasons that this listing get such high marks!"

"We were looking for a pet friendly property. The guest quarters accommodated us well. The location was convenient, and allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to. The only recommendation I would give would be to upgrade the mattresses and couch. The mattresses were not comfortable, and the couch was very used and worn out. Also, putting screens on the windows would allow the cool mountain air to flow without the bugs. There was only one window with a worn out screen."

"We loved the cabin and the porch with the view!The cabin was very clean and stocked with whatever you might need to cook with.The beds were comfortable.The only downside was the TV.Once someone explained the operation, it was fine.We can't wait to stay there again!"

"The cabinet was very clean with zero complaints. However, I just have missed the small print that explained the bungalow was not in the main photo but was rather in the back under the main cabin. A bit of a surprise to have the cleaning people in there for several hours cleaning and moving furniture.. quite loud. When the family for the main cabin arrived, the noise continued."

"Had a delightful stay with my mom and pup. We cooked all meals in and the kitchen had everything we could need and more! Decor was both tasteful and adorable. Enjoyed all the outdoor spaces in and around Greer, The creek and hiking trails were my pup’s favorite. I loved all the summer time recreation options at Sunrise. Mom and I loved shopping at the Lazy Trout and grabbing morning coffee at the roadside van. Highly recommend Greer and the Cowboy Casita!"
