Movie House

New 3 bedroom 2 bath manufactured home with porch , swing and ATV trails, ride from the front door. JUST 36 MINUTES NORTH OF MOAB ON I-70. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Only 30 minutes from downtown Moab. All 10 of our rental house are rated 5 star with about 200 reviews. Our 2 and 3 bedroom units are about half the price of a motel room in Moab. Peace and quiet is not for everyone. About half of the population love air pollution and bumper to bumper traffic. We appeal to the other half of the population that goes on vacation to unwind. We're not close to Wal-mart or clubs and bars. All of our houses are fully equipped with kitchens, barbeque grills and propane , pots and pans etc. IF THIS UNIT IS RENTED, YOU CAN VIEW OUR OTHER UNITS BY EXPANDING THE VRBO MAP TO A 30 MILE RADIUS WE ARE NEAR I-70>>>>>> WE ARE 30 MINUTES NORTH OF MOAB>>>>>>>>

This is a nice place to stay. It is out of town from Moab, but worked out fine because we just went to the place after we were done playing at the National Parks.

Awesome house in Thompson Springs

We stayed for 1 night on our way to Zion as it was the halfway point between home and there. This place was perfect- affordable, exactly as was described in the listing, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else.

Quiet and Peaceful setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a quiet retreat after exploring the surrounding areas. We would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a quiet and convenient location near Arches, Moab, and/or Canyonlands.

Comfortable and convenient

This was our first of two stays here. The place was easy to find and checkin after a long day of driving! Plenty of parking and space inside for all 5 of us! The water pressure in the shower was amazing!

Great place to stay!

The property was clean and well cared for! There were plenty of towels and toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked. It was the perfect place to stay while we visited Arches and Canyonland. Trains go by but it was never a bother. Great place that i absolutely recommend!

A Taste of the Old West

The stars! We saw more stars than my daughter from the city had ever seen in her life. I enjoyed the quiet so much. And the house is spacious and fully equipped.

Comfortable stay outside of the hustle and bustle

Nice, spacious, clean property with plenty of space for our group to hang out and cook. It was in a very quiet place, about 30 minutes outside of the hustle and bustle of Moab. Check in/out was simple. There are no restaurants nearby so it was great that there was plenty of space for preparing food and cooking. The beds were a little firm for my taste but it was so great to have 3 bedrooms and use of a washer and dryer. All and all a great stay!

100% Perfect

Everything was VERY clean and looked like the pictures. The area was quiet but very accessible. Even if I was trying to scrutinize the place there weren't any flaws I could pick out.

Quiet and convenient

We stayed here 2 Fridays in a row. No complaints or issues other than we couldn’t get the house to cool enough the second night. Other than that it had plenty of space, was clean and comfortable. Easily accessible off the interstate.

Great stay in Thompson Springs

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11-day stay in the 'Movie House'. The space was nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. There wasn't one item we needed that wasn't already provided. The drive to the mtb trails, national parks and Moab was easy to do, and we loved being away from the busyness of the town. The office staff at Ballard RV Park were helpful and couteous. This will be our 'go to' place for futures visits!

I really liked it.

It's just a huge house. The living room is themed after Western movies. And it was great! Moreover, excellent beds, a large table in the dining room and everything you need in the kitchen. Absolutely luxury washing and drying machines. I recommend it to everyone, you won’t regret it!!!

Great for kids

My 3 kids ages 12, 11, and 9, as well as my parents in their 60's had such a great time in Thompson Springs. Our rental house had plenty of space and all we needed to cook and eat well. It took us a couple cold showers to learn how to work the warm water, but there was indeed warm water. We were happy to have a washer and dryer in the house as well after the kids played in the sand and dirt all day. Breath-taking sights, relaxed staff, and comfortable beds helped make our vacation unforgetable.

Clean, comfortable and well stocked!

This was a very nice place to stay and was perfect for our family. The location was good for us as it was nice and quiet and not too far from all of the National and State Parks we wanted to visit. This is located in a place without any amenities and so you did have to travel at least 25 miles for groceries or to go to eat, but that was fine with us. We shipped on our way and cooked most of our meals. The place was well stocked and included all the pots and pans I needed as well as a gas grill with utensils and a crockpot. They even included laundry detergent for the washer and dryer. We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect place for our family of 5!

Clean and Comfortable

My family of 5 stayed at Movie House for 2 nights while we were visiting National Parks. It was roomy enough for everyone and had everything we needed. The grill and patio were great! A quick note for anyone who is extra sensitive to scents: the cleaning products used (we think for the floor) have a strong scent. My husband is very sensitive to smells and had to sit outside for a short time while we aired the house out. He was fine after that and we enjoyed our stay!

Home away from home

Property has everything needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Basics are provided such as dishes, pots/pans, aluminum foil, salt pepper, coffee/creamer/sugar, and standard appliances. Hot water heater tank is on the smaller side but shouldnt be a problem if you wait a short period in between showers and/or take shorter showers. The drive to Moab isn't terrible and it's worth it as the coat to stay here is significantly cheaper than anywhere in Moab. It is a quiet area, at least in the off season. Will be a repeat customer.
