Road To Great Basin National Park, Nevada, in February
This NP lies just west of the Utah/Nevada border. This park is a real gem!
It was ok, the rooms were updated poorly though
In October 2017, our trip started from Las Vegas, we drove most of the day, stopped for lunch in Caliente, but did end up on the 50, the loneliest highway in the U.S. Luckily at night, we managed to find a RV park, East of Baker, just on the borderline Nevada-Utah. We woke up on a clear sunny day and thought we would go and hike in the Great Basin National Park. As luck would have it, as the day progressed and we got nearer to the summit, the weather got worse. We were not equipped for rain or snow, so this is as near as we got to Mount Washington. Nevertheless, it is still a beautiful place to be.
