What to do in City of Busselton

Busselton Jetty is one of the longest jetties in the Southern Hemisphere. Walk along this impressive wooden structure, or ride a small train, to the jetty’s underwater observatory. The jetty is close to many other major attractions, including Busselton Beach and Port Geographe Marina.

The Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory is a remarkable man-made marine environment at the end of Busselton Jetty. Descend 8 metres (26 feet) below the surface to peer through the 11 viewing windows. This environment features marine life, including sponges, invertebrates and many species of fish. Explore this educational facility on a tour and learn about its history at a nearby cultural museum.

Meelup Beach is a wide, spacious stretch of sand lapped by calm transparent waters and equipped with facilities for a fun day out. Find shade under the branches of the trees that line the shore, take a dip in the sheltered waters and enjoy a feast cooked up on the beach’s public barbecues.

Wind your way to the top of Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, a lofty landmark that's more than 100 years old. The 19-metre (62-feet) aid to navigation sits on a hill that’s about 100 metres (328 feet) above sea level.
