About this property

Just steps away from the Big Horn River

  • Enjoy your stay in Thermopolis at this newer construction, 3 bedroom 2 bath home. The Big Horn river is one of the best fisheries in the state, and you have access to it right outside your doors. On any given morning it is the norm to see pheasants or deer walking by, along with many different species of waterfowl enjoying the waters of the river. Easy access to the town of Thermopolis, which offers a world class dinosaur museum, and two commercial swimming pools where you can enjoy the water from the natural mineral hot springs. Boysen reservoir is 30min away, while the scenic town of Cody, and Yellowstone Park are within a 2 hour drive. The Riverview Guesthouse is great if you are in town to fish, hunt, explore the local area, or for a base while making day trips. We do not have a TV with DVD player and HD antenna for local channels. Our intent with this guesthouse is to help people engage more with each other and their surroundings, while getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is ideal to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, and board games are provided if weather keeps you indoors. The trout fishing along this stretch of the river is very good with both public and private access to the river. This location allows nearly 6,000 feet of public fishing access along the river bank downstream from the house, and almost 2,000 feet of private river access upstream. We do have kayaks available on request, along with tour opportunities in Thermopolis and the surrounding area.
