We stayed a week in Santorini. Beautiful, clean hotel with great caldera and city views. They cleaned the room daily, friendly staff, and they have a small parking lot (which seems rare now after seeing other hotels on the caldera) which we used to park a rented ATV. Location was great, many good restaurants nearby but quieter than being in the middle of Fira. Some reviews complained about breakfast, I’m not sure why, it was free and was plenty. They bring breakfast to your table with numerous options, it is not buffet like some older pictures show but we looked forward to it everyday. We had a couples massage, pricing was fair in my opinion (not cheap, not overpriced), but the massage was excellent (one of the best we’ve had). We had an upgraded room with a balcony, not sure what the cave rooms are like. We had a “plunge tub” on our balcony. We assumed it would be an hot tub, it is actually cold. We checked out some other hotels and apparently the cold tubs are common because it’s so hot in the summer. Overall would highly recommend.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Grand Ambassador in Akrotiri, Santorini. This hotel advertises itself as a 5-star property, but my experience did not reflect that standard. The room had an ants problem. I reported it to the staff and the manager, but nothing was done to resolve the issue during my stay. It's unacceptable to ignore a basic cleanliness concern like this. Though they cleaned everyday but it never took care of the ants. They needed to hire a company and spray the property. The hotel also advertises king-size beds, but the bed in my room was actually a queen, which was misleading. The manager argued it was a king and send someone else to measure. Come to find out the bed IS a queen size. He stated that he order king size and thats what he received. I paid for a king size bed not a queen. He didnt bother of trying to find another room or make it right. In addition, several fixtures in the room were outdated or in poor condition, making the room feel poorly maintained. The property was amazing with a beautiful panoramic view. The floor staff was super friendly. For a hotel that is advertising to be 5 stars, I expected much better service, maintenance, and honesty . Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations, and I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

This hotel was great... and my wife and I are pretty pick normally. They had the right amenities and staff was genuinely nice and helpful. The sushi bar is a great add! Also, there was no waiting for the spa (although the massages were mediocre). Loved the pools outside of the room and the main pool area. This is a definite visit!

The amenities and service were top notch 5 star category. Beautiful views, excellent service amenities and breakfast and immaculate in cleanliness! Best hotel so far in Greece!
