"It is a small hotel in a tiny town - my expectations weren’t very high. However, the room was beautiful! Clearly newly renovated, and not with band-aid fixes to hide things but well done. Breakfast was very limited - nothing that I could eat being allergic to both gluten and dairy, but my husband enjoyed the made-to-order waffles and the in-room microwave and fridge made it possible for me to bring and make food that I could eat. Overall, I would stay here again. "

"The house was very clean and beautiful and well stocked for dishes, pots and pans, extras, pool stuff and towels and linens. Jane was very nice and responsive and check in and out was really easy. My family loved the pool and the views and the space in the house. Would definitely book again. My father-in-law (who lives in the area) came to visit during the day and also loved the property and said he’d recommend it to his friends who visit from out of town. Very positive experience, thank you for letting us stay in your home!"

"This place feels like you’re at summer camp again! The managers & other workers are so sweet & friendly. The setting is stunning. We did the two-hour kayaking excursion. When we came back, the lodge had boxed lunches that we had pre-ordered. Then dinner has way more special than you would imagine—apparently the main chef recently graduated from culinary school. The Wi-Fi signal is weak except in the main building, but that’s just all the better—this place lets you relax, reconnect with nature, & do a digital detox."
