Divi Southwinds Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This is my second time in 4 months staying at Divi..or the Divsss as I now affectionately call it lol. Love it here! Great central location between Oistins and Bridgetown. The staff are great, accommodating for items needed. Everyday we had plenty of fresh towels, AC works GREAT!! comfortable beds with lots of pillows and very clean bedding. The couch is a pull out. We loved being able to store fresh foods from the market in the fridge and cook up easy meals on the stove. Love that they have balconies. The only thing I wish they had was AC in the elevator...gets very humid in there but it's a short ride. The beach is free to sit at, no chair costs for the one close by, down by the Dover platform you have to pay for a chair. There's entertainment and food options within walking distance at The Gap. The price is very fair for what you get, I will be back!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Royalton and would definitely return. The staff were friendly, and the food was very good overall. The only disappointment was the Hunters Steakhouse. There were long wait times, confusion with orders, the food was served cold, and there was no bread provided at the tables. We also experienced one night without cold water, which meant we couldn’t take showers, and the toilet would not flush. Fortunately, this was only a temporary issue. The guests were also very friendly and inviting, which made the trip joyful. Despite these inconveniences, I had a wonderful stay. The friendly service, good food, and overall experience made it a trip worth repeating. I look forward to returning."

"We had an absolutely fabulous stay! The entire staff was friendly, attentive and made our stay (2 weeks) completely enjoyable. We loved the spa, poolside bar and restaurant. Food was delicious and the atmosphere stunning. The excursions we booked easily, recommended dinner reservations in town were wonderful and we will definitely make a trip back in the future."

"I enjoyed the design of the hotel and the placement of my room on the third floor. It had a breathtaking view of the beach and hotel. The staff were very helpful and kind. The only thing I would recommend is lowering the volume of the live music. Whenever a band came it felt like they were playing on my porch. No one wants to hear the Rock and Roll version of lollipop by lil Wayne 😂 The breakfast is nice and lunch/dinner is mid. The beach is beautiful but be weary of strangers wandering around. The dude who plays the saxophone or something like that is fire."

"We had an ocean front room and everything was perfect, from the time we arrived (early) the reception held our luggage and we got our bands to start using all the amenities. The food was just right and unlimited drinks! There was always space to use the cabanas and not overly populated. Definitely will recommend to those who wants a peaceful relaxing time without the hustling of having to leave the hotel."

"I liked that room service was every day and staff members were very friendly and helpful. The food of course was very delicious whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, when it came to getting your drinks on the beach, I think the resort should think about having a beach bar near by."
