"Beautiful small hotel in an ancient building with beautiful furnishings. Our room (Sliema) was large and well furnished and equipped with excellent drinks making facilities. The bathroom was large and had plentiful hot water but was down a couple of steep steps from the bedroom. At the top of the hotel is a lovely roof terrace with fabulous views and a small pool. The breakfast was decent, especially the freshly cooked eggs. The hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it is up a few steps up from the road and has more steps inside. There is a lift but it did not work throughout our stay. The staff at the hotel are delightful. The location in Cospicua is excellent, close to the Valetta ferry and with many restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance but feeling like a real Maltese town."

"Two day business trip in Valletta - didn't want a posh hotel far away and this lucky find was just right. Spotlessly clean, They arranged for me to be to be picked up at Luqa airport and that worked well, the breakfast was perfect (different every day), the staff - Shawn & Petrie - were kind and helpful. The rooms are small but air conditioned and comfortable and they have a rooftop bar. where you can chill. I used Bolt (like uber) to get to my meetings and they were always on time. In short, they de-stressed what would otherwise have been a rushed two days."

"This is a superb property. Excellent communication from property manager. This is a beautifully modernized historic building. Access via alleyways with cobblestones and steps is a bit challenging with larger suitcases but you will be rewarded for your efforts. Close to a convenience store and even closer to the quick and cheap ferry to Valletta."

The rooftop terrace was absolutely wonderful with an honesty bar so you can have a drink while you enjoy the view. "The apartment was fantastic. It was very hot when we arrived and the air conditioning worked very well. Joseph checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. Beds where comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Amazing views from the balcony, well worth the steps to the top floor! We loved being in Senglea, authentic Malta and very easy to go to Birgu, as well as crossing over to Valetta. Lots of restaurants nearby. Absolutely loved our stay!"
