"A very nicely decorated old house in a convenient location. Quite easy to find parking spaces nearby and there are many dining options around. There are basically everything you need inside the house, and the owner is ready to help if you need anything. The only issues is that the stairs inside the house are quite steep (which is a common feature in old houses in Tainan) so be careful if you are staying with young children and elderly. Overall I highly recommend this place for its excellent...

"I was glad we had a mandarin speaker with us to call the proprietor when we arrived as we didnt know what to do when everything was locked up. But once we called and he arrived, it was an awesome place to stay. Loved the location in historic Tainan (only street parking a couple blocks away available) and all four of us found it very roomy with a nice shared sitting area/kitchen outside our private room. And free snacks upon arrival. I hope to stay there again some day!"

"This would be our 5th or 6th time staying at Silk Place Tainan. We keep coming back here everytime we visit Tainan due to cleanliness and comfortable rooms, excellent facilities and delicious Buffett breakfast. This time my kids also used the pool which was nicely heated. It is also located close to a major department store. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Tainan and I know we will be back again in the future."

The hotel facilities are very clean and well maintained. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by a bowl of fresh fruit in our room. "Staff are great, very helpful. Plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel... EXCEPT that there are a few tight corners you have to turn before you get to the parking lots. If you are driving a standard car, NO problem. I had a big SUV... that took me a bit of an effort. Otherwise, it's fine !!

There's a very nice and cosy lounge on Ground Floor that you can use. Coffee machine, Milo drinks, Chinese tea... the LOT !!"
