"Breakfast menu was excellent. I enjoyed the lobster crab soup and the beef soup. The seafood porridge with abolone and scallop was great. The swimming pool was very nice. Good to have a lifeguard around. "

"We first fell in love with the Silks Place brand when we stayed at their Taroko Gorge location. And now our stay in their Tainan location just adds to our affection for the brand. This is a very well managed hotel with an excellently trained and efficient staff. It is immaculately maintained throughout plus offers a variety of food choices in their many restaurants. We will definitely return to Tainan to further explore its history, and to enjoy the food, and royal treatment at Silks Place. "

Overall, many thoughtful touches were pleasantly surprising. It’s clean and well-located—within walking distance of the night market, which is perfect for food lovers."

"We ended up not staying at the property, but I feel I need to leave a review. When we arrived, they didn’t have our reservation, although it was showing on Expedia. The hotel was full. Not sure how the mixup happened, but we were happy to leave. The hotel is accessed through a very dilapidated office building, and the lobby reeked of stale cigarettes. The only bright spot was the lovel receptionist who helped us find another hotel."
