Our room was very good; we were upgraded on arrival to a pool room for my partner's 60th birthday trip.
The food was generally good, but on occasion it could be slightly cold.
Breakfast was the highlight of the day, with a wide-ranging buffet,
which was a great start to the day.
All drinks in the all-inclusive package were very good quality.
The hotel was quaint/quirky with a great vibe and full of history.
We loved that it was only 24 rooms, so we got to know most people at the hotel, which made for a great time socially.
The hotel team was generally good; Mary and Terry were great, and Elsie was a standout Star of the team, always making you feel welcome and going that extra mile to ensure we all felt at ease and had a good time.
The hotel location was wonderful, a few hundred yards from Pebbles and Carlisle beaches, with local bus stops nearby and only a half-hour walk to Bridgetown.
Overall, a lovely hotel with good people and a lovely island made this a special trip.
