"This place is truly a lake front paradise. We had a spectacular view of a harbor and the hills. We visited during the fall and it was so perfectly peacful and quiet. There are several cozy hangout spots and everything was clean and wonderful. Kathy is a great host!"

"The neighbor dog alone makes this property 5 stars! If you miss your pets while on vacation, this is the place to stay. Yes the neighbors have a dog named Sky. She’s the friendliest, most well behaved dog I’ve ever met. She’s got a tag with her owner’s number so I texted him to tell him she was okay and could stick around all week if she wanted… and she did! She would even greet us on the porch when we returned to the house! Okay, about the property… perfect!! On an inlet of the main lake with Cedar Grove Marina directly across! RENT A BOAT!! We rented for 3 days and wished we had rented for the entire stay. Being on the water was so relaxing and the private dock at the house made it so convenient.The kitchen is well stocked. There’s a blender, crockpot, toaster… really everything you need, but all low end stuff. If you love to cook like I do you’ll wish you brought your own knife.The master shower is awesome! Huge with a seat, shower head on the wall and a rain shower head in the ceiling. Every bed is noisy… and I’ll leave it at that. 藍We would book again in a heartbeat. One of our best vacations (and we travel the world) ever!!!"

"Our group had a great stay here! The place was clean and well-stocked, and the location was great. We appreciated that the living room has plenty of seating, the dining table is spacious, and there are TV stands and a nice game selection in the living room. We also appreciated the second fridge downstairs and the labeling in the kitchen which made it clear where everything goes.The host sometimes took a while to respond and the check-out guidelines were a bit confusing, but these were minor things and I believe the host is working on them.A few small things to be aware of (which may also be clear in the listing, but just fyi!): -The top floor/attic room doesn't have a door. -The house does not provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap.-When the lake is low like it was during our visit--and especially if it rains!-- getting down to the dock can be a bit treacherous. This is a problem for nearly all the houses in this strip (not just this one), so just an fyi to be careful!We've stayed in a number of places in Flat Hollow and would definitely recommend and return to this one! "

"I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan on to get the heat out but turn it off if you want to keep bugs out. We stayed when it was fairly cool outside; I can imagine it’s unbearably hot in the summer upstairs. The listing pictures do not accurately depict the many, many steps to the dock that are very steep and rickety. I’m glad we didn’t have our dog or any toddlers with us; they would not have been able to use the steps. It was “clean enough” - don’t look under the furniture. Lots of ticks, which is expected in the area but some basic weed eating and trimming would help. "
