"The hotel has a great location, but bad management. The place is wrecked, everything is rusted and VERY old. The double beds are actually 2 single mattresses, so if you are a couple prepare to fall between the gap. There is no Wi-Fi in rooms or anywhere near them. You have to go to reception, and it's limited even at hours with no one around. Took me 15 mins each time to download emails. The staff are all really unfriendly/not helpful even if you speak Italian. You can't pay with cash but...

Shower flooded bathroom, they fixed it quickly but then didn’t replace the towels we’d used to mop up. All the hotels we’ve stayed in Sicily we’ve adored, this one was a bit disappointing. A lot easier than lugging up several flights of a spiral staircase. The gentleman we interacted with (owner) is so proud of his city, his B&B, and his COFFEE! He’s an expert at all three.
