"Quick check-in, and we got an upgrade for our room. The staff at the reception, restaurant, and the gentleman at the pool area were all very friendly and welcoming. For my birthday, our sweet waitress surprised me with a dessert, which made the stay even more special. Overall, it’s a nice property with a fantastic view, and we had a relaxing weekend. Good points: the lake view and the private access to the lake. Negative point: unfortunately, the pool was dirty, so we Couldn’t enjoy it in our first day."

"Well where do we start? The staff was nice. The pool and jacuzzi were nice. The bad part was the rooms. Yes I said rooms, the first room we got had the smoke detector going off so we had to switch rooms. The second room, the beds were both covered in hair that did not belong to us. Unacceptable! The location of the hotel is next to a bar that has cars racing up and down at all times of the night and we were in the very back portion of the hotel. I can only imagine how loud it was for the other people staying there. All in all I’d give it a 2 star rating"

"Parking was safe. Grounds are well kept. Rooms were immaculate. We arrive an hour early and they were able to accommodate us."

"The room was remodeled, clean, bed was comfortable, a/c was great, front door was dirty, and the service was great. Easy check in and check out."

"It’s a really run down property. Access staircase is rickety and broken with a dirty rug over it and is a trip hazard. The room configuration is strange. The runner inside the room is filthy. The best thing about the property is the caretaker (Jennifer I think?) who is superb! That said, the view is fabulous, the bed was comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave made it nice. Lots of DVDs were available, and the breakfast was adequate. "

"We enjoy staying here because it is very centrally located and you can walk to everything. The place is old and a little run down. The bed was comfortable but made a lot of noise when we rolled over. It was a noisy mattress for some reason. Overall will stay there again."
