"The property is in a great location on the lake that is part of the Portage lake system. We’ve spent many hours kayaking and exploring the nine lakes and many canals that connect them. Very peaceful and beautiful views of nature are all around! The kayaks are kindly provided by the host along with other sport equipment such as volleyball, badminton and croquet. The three bedrooms in the house allowed our family of four enough privacy. And a patio outside was great for barbecue and morning coffee. I cooked most of the meals for our two weeks stay and found the kitchen reasonably stocked. The hostess, Michelle, is very friendly and attentive to every request. She also provided us with information about local events and parks that we enjoyed visiting. We had a wonderful vacation on Strawberry lake in beautiful Michigan!"

"We loved our stay at River Rock Guest house! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and recently updated. We enjoyed meals in the large dining room/living room and on the back deck. The property is clean and well cared for with plenty of privacy. You can tell the owners care deeply about their guests, the home and the outdoor space. Terry responded quickly and was very helpful and kind. We were a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 young children) and we had plenty of room. The pullout couch was very comfortable and fit 3 children. We spent time at the Metro park playground and took walks on the Border to Border Trail. We also spent a day on the Huron River utilizing Skip's Canoe Livery which is a short walk from the property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet sanctuary close to nature and the Huron River. I will definitely come back!"

"This cabin is in a very beautiful resort area. A beautiful clean lake for swimming and fishing is right across the road! The cabin was very clean and ready to use. Everything for eating and cooking is available. There are many shops in walking distance and bars and restaurants. There is also a nice shade tree out front to sit under with a few cold drinks! Perfect Place!"

"The house was extremely clean. Very well kept, We loved the farm house vibes! Looks like renovated kitchen. It was perfect for a girls weekend for the 10 of us. When we arrived, there was fresh bread, farm eggs, and bacon for us! The owners were very clear and communicated quickly to any questions we had. The property was beautiful. It was nice to have a smart TV in the living room and plenty of dining space. The bathrooms were gorgeous and very spacious which was a huge plus. 10/10 place!"
