"Friendly staff and clean. Rollercoaster view was enjoyable and easy access in and out. Perfect location to magnum gate and boardwalk beach entrance. Early entry to get in the park was great on the day you check in and check out because you can get in line for rides before the park opens to the public. Room was good, fridge and freezer nice size. Air was perfect kept it cold. Beds were comfortable. Our shower head was broken not a big deal just didn’t like it spraying water all over. Need a bigger garbage can in the room. The one night we wanted to go to the outdoor swimming pool closed because of lightening and the indoor pool was so over crowded. The ice cream selection at night had only one flavor so skipped that, The beach was nice except a few dead fish laying on the sand. My family has been staying at Breakers since I was a young girl. My own family has stayed here twice now. Would definitely stay again!"

"The listing did not include any information about the development being a gated community that required a per day fee for vehicle access as well as a per day fee for each guest of 18.00 per child and 40.00 per adult. This was not discovered until arriving at the gate to the community. The additional fees would have resulted in an additional 604 dollars for my family to stay. However, the community waived the first night's fees because we could not get ahold of the homeowner. Vrbo reimbursed me for the rest of the fees because there was nothing about it in the listing. The house was nice. The front load washer had a considerable amount of mold under the seal which deterred us from using it as well as being plugged into an extension cord which is a dangerous application. The one upstairs bedroom had a window unit air conditioner installed. The other 2 bedrooms had an air conditioner each on the floor that I had to install myself. I had no tools for a proper installation which left gaps. the one installed previously also had gaps, which allowed a large amount of small winged insects in that collected on the ceiling. every night before bed we would have to suck up hundreds of these bugs with a small shop vac I found on the premises. The golf cart did not have any working lights or turn signals so it could not be driven after dusk and did not meet the community requirements laid out in their literature."

"We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The primary bathroom was so nice! My mother loved it and said the primary bed was very comfortable. We all enjoyed the picture hunt in the dining room. The kitchen was beautiful & had everything we needed. There were plenty of places to relax and have moments of privacy in & outside of the house. We enjoyed the fire pit as well. The deck had a very nice table and comfortable seating. We enjoyed our coffee out there in the morning.Only complaint was 1 of the bedrooms upstairs had no AC. It was quite toasty even when running the ceiling fan. Overall, our stay in Marblehead was marvelous and we highly recommend the Hummingbird Inn."
