Goed hotel om de omgeving te verkennen

Beetje vreemd hotel. In de middle of nowhere. Ziet er niet echt verzorgd uit, maar ook niet aftands. Mix van oude vloerbedekking en nieuwe bedden en kasten. Wij hadden familiekamer, echt groot. Stond een whirlpool bad in de kamer, maar die was 'buiten gebruik'. Ontbijt hield niet over, maar was ook niet duur (9 Euro p/p) Ik kom tot de conclusie dat dit een oud hotel is dat wellicht pas overgenomen is en waarmee men nog bezig is dit naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Ik vond de prijs (134 Euro, 4 personen, zonder ontbijt) aan de hoge kant voor het gebodene (en dat beinvloed mijn score), maar dat is wellicht ook debet aan het dure gebied.

Onvriendelijke ontvangst, meteen betalen bij binnenkomst, vieze vloerbedekking. Bedden wel schoon, vlekken op muren en gordijnen, absoluut niet schoon. Prima restaurant, lekker gegeten . Erg gehorig en erg jammer dat er 's morgens om 07.15 de lege flessen geleegd werden op zaterdagmorgen.

Keep your shoes on in your room

Hotel has bad smell and so did our room. Carpets were so old and used they looked like they had been kept outside in a muddy back garden. Bathroom was better but not much. New sink and clean toilet though. As for the climate control, there was a door to communial balcony, so if you didn’t want to boil with the crazy amount of heat in the room you were forced to keep the door open, exposing yourself to anyone from the other rooms on your floor and also the noise from the local main road.

Geen echt schone badkamer en kamer. Spinnenwebben hingen in de kamer en oude lege fles wijn op het balkon. Kamer werd verwarmd door een Action-heater, verwarming zat er op zowel kamer als badkamer niet.

Eenvoudig hotel doet kil aan. Kamers ruim maar, net als hotel, bar, restaurant erg sfeerloos. Kan wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Gang, lift, bleekvlekken op tapijt overal Badkamer heel basic en mist wel een en ander helaas, geen plaats om bv toiletspullen neer te zetten, geen lichtje bij wastafel. Kamer 320, balkondeur ging niet meer dicht. Dit bij manager gemeld 's avonds. Zou het doorgeven echter nooit gebeurd. Daardoor slaap je niet echt "lekker" Manager kwam ook heel ongeïnteresseerd over. Bij check out nogmaals bij receptie gemeld. Hopeijk voor volgende gasten is er wel wat aan gedaan. Ligt aan doorgaande weg. Valt mee qua overlast.lawaai verkeer Hotel voor Soldaat van Oranje gekozen. Echter, zou aanraden iets verder te rijden voor een ander sfeervoller hotel in de buurt. (Katwijk of Noordwijk bv)

Goed basic hotel

Na een dagje Duinrell kwamen we hier overnachten. Goed, basic hotel. Weinig oog voor de details waardoor ze aan geen hogere score komen maar zeker ok! BV. Zeer ruime familiekamer met groot bubbelbad ( maar dat werkte niet naar behoren), mooi uitzicht op de natuur ( maar vuile vensters en nog sigarettenpeuk op het balkon). Personeel heel vriendelijk.

Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten met 2 katten ivm een kattenshow. Beneden aangekomen vonden we het hotel erg mooi, net personeel en een fijne sfeer. Er werd nog verbouwd in een deel aan de andere zijde. Bij het naar boven gaan merkten we wel waar de andere recencies het over hadden. De lift kon wel een likje verf gebruiken en boven (3e verdieping) viel ons direct de smoezelige vloerbedekking op met her en der (bleek?)vlekken. De kamer was ruim, maar ook hier de smoezelige vloerbedekking en enkele beschadigingen op de muur (vegen van koffers?). We misten een koelkastje of iets van een koffie/thee setje. De bedden zijn even wennen, wat zachter en kraken flink. Er was geen verwarming die we konden instellen, voor ons was het iets te warm op de kamer in de nacht. We hadden de maisonette en dus boven de badkamer. Deze was van goede grote, maar had geen deur??? Hij was schoon en netjes, maar de kalkaanslag in de douche viel wel op. Wij verbleven er alleen de nachten, dus hadden verder weinig op de kamer te zoeken, en daar is de kamer ook wel geschikt voor.

De uitstraling van het hotel is anders dan dat ik het ervaren heb. Ontvangst was hartelijk Kamer was toereikend maar wel met enkele defecten zoals het plateau aan de achterwand viel meteen naar beneden en het dekbed was voor een tweepersoonsbed veel te klein. Werd bij navraag meteen aangevuld met nog een zelfde dekbed. De afwatering van de douchevloer was slecht De geserveerde maaltijd was behoorlijk en het ontbijt wat magertjes Vooral de vloerbedekking op de etages was aangetast door agressieve middelen zoals bijvoorbeeld chloorhoudende producten ( grote vlekken)

Vriendelijk personeel maar achterstallig onderhoud

Het personeel was er erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Alleen het leek alsof het hotel óf nog afgewerkt moest worden óf het onderhoud achterstallig was. Niet smerig of vuil maar veel beschadigingen en chloorvlekken overal in het tapijt. Niet alleen op de kamer zelf maar door heel het hotel heen. Ook de balkons en raampartijen hadden al een tijd geen spons gezien. Erg jammer van het hotel. Ik zou het hotel best aanraden, maar de prijs per nacht zie je niet terug in het onderhoud.

I was very disappointed that the television did not work for two of the nights. On the Saturday morning the power was off so we could not shut the door of the bathroom which was completely dark. Very disappointing to say the least.

Quiet hotel in a country setting

Reasonable value for the price. Biggest problem was, in our room the WC was up a steep set of stairs. Nor convenient at all.
