The hotel was perfect for a one night stop for me on a business visit to the Netherlands. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. Somebody made me a fresh omelette right there for breakfast, right in front of me 😀 There is a rail track that runs at the back of the hotel with regular electric trains, but that wasn’t a problem for me.

Good value for money

The Hotel was Okey , the bathroom was a bit smelly. Other than that for the low Price it was a fine place to sleep. The staff is freindly and helping. If I have to go to Rotterdam again , this could be the hotel that I’am booking again.

Robby, Kimberly and Fabion were all wonderful. They were accommodating, curious and always professional. The property is convenient to rail and a short trip to The Hague. I highly recommend this property.

If it wasnt for the regular bus and tran services thus hotel would be noehere near places of interest, be very careful 8f you book and oay though a service agent like expedia, alyhough i paid in full for my stay when booking the hotel debited my card again for my stay, i only noticed because i checked my bank balance, was not happy. But luckily i hadnt fhecked out and was able to demand a refund. Liked Zoetermeer wouldnt stay at the Bastion again though.

Broken tap, door lock and poor noise cancellation

My tap was not attached to the sink properly, second lock in a door didn't work properly so I didn't feel safe. Moreover, train is going next to the hotel which means a lot of noise because noice cancellation is so poor. Room was really cold, AC was set to 18. Didn't help to turn it of, it was still cold whole night. Do not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing stay

The room was dirty i found dirty socks on the chair, there was lits from bottles in the shower. The person who ‘cleaned’ this room obviously didn’t care. The room was next to entrance of the floor, so slamming of door all the time and people talking loud in the hall. The parking lot was full of empty bottles and food wraps. When i came back one night there was 1 parking spot left all the way in the back, there were group off people hanging there drinking and smoking. That late at night gave me an unsafe feeling. All In all an disappointing stay.

Prima kamer, goed en fijn groot bed, volgende ochtend auto fijn elektrisch bijgeladen. Het diner was niets bijzonders, prijs, kwaliteit aan de matige kant.

Supervriendelijk personeel aan de creceptie, bij het ontbijt, dames van de schoonmaak enz. Van deze mate van klantvriendelijkheid kunnen nog veel hotels iets leren. Kamer was uitstekend, ruim, netjes en heerlijke douche. Ontbijt was ook heerlijk.

Es hat uns alles gut gefallen, für den Preis ist es preiswert und super. Für uns war es nicht zu laut, Sauberkeit top, alles lief reibungslos bei check in/out. Die Lage ist nunmal außerhalb Den Haag/Rotterdam etc. Mit dem Auto ist alles aber schnell erreichbar.

Trevlig personal, rummet hade vissa fel i toaletten, sitt ringen satt löst och handfatet var igensatt. Detta påpekades till personalen dagen efter, och de hade löst problemet till fullo. Sängen var mycket komfortabel, och området är tyst. Laddstationer fanns, 11kW, dock är det en extern laddoperatör, lite krångligt, men det gick. Lite dyrt för att vara en långsamladdare, €0,47 / kW.
