The Cottage at Loving Farm-A Vegan Sanctuary for Animal Lovers!

The Cottage is located at Loving Farm Animal Sanctuary and has a two night minimum. Loving Farm is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to give safety and lifetime care to their rescued animals. The sanctuary is a “hilltop haven” on 16 beautiful, gated and fenced acres with spectacular views of vineyards, olive groves, hills and grazing animals. You can enjoy gorgeous vistas from every window, or the covered front and back porches. The Cottage is near many wineries. Some favorites are Victor Hugo, Sculpterra and Stillwater. The cottage is not suitable for children under 6. We ask that all children have adult supervision at all times for the child's safety as well as the animals. A stay in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is a unique opportunity to experience the tranquility of being surrounded by happy, loved animals who have been rescued and are protected for life. Loving Farm Animal Sanctuary is a vegan sanctuary, so out of respect for the animals and birds, no animal products are to be consumed on property. The Co-Founders and owners of Loving Farm, Tracey and Bill, live on property and are happy to answer any questions. A private tour can be arranged, for a tax-deductible donation to the support of the animals, at a mutually agreed upon time. You are welcome to take photographs of the animals from outside of their paddocks but not to enter their living spaces unless accompanied by Tracey or Bill. And please do not feed any of the animals. Most of them are on specialized diets so they are not given “treats.” This is a safe haven for animals who had hard beginnings so their needs must be respected at all times. Our sanctuary animals come first, therefore we do not allow guests to bring pets. Tracey and Bill are happy to share the stories of the Loving Farm Family members with anyone who is interested. Happy farm stay

Amazing property AND unforgettable experience
We stumbled upon this property as we looking for places to stay in the central coast and are so lucky we did. We donated to participate in a tour and loved it. My 8 year old now understands why we don’t eat meat. We saw pigs and turkeys and cows. The cottage itself is impeccable. Beds are comfortable and space is welcoming. Tracey and Bill were kind and open. They work so very hard. We can’t wait to go back!

Tranquil Stay Nestled Among Vineyards
Got lucky and found this property based on location, pricing and amenities. Plus it looked really fun to be in a sanctuary farm setting. Overall, the place was perfect and in a great location. The animals were rescues and really fun to see and interact with especially the pigs! For a farm it was surprisingly quiet. The beds were very comfortable, the backyard setting was brilliant and perfect for evenings enjoying a beverage and overlooking the surrounding area. Fully stocked kitchen. Pay attention the vegan policies which we didn't find to be a problem at all. Parking was super easy right in front of the cottage. Absolutely had a great time and would without hesitation stay again. The owners next door were very friendly and made you feel welcome like family. But you had 100% privacy in the cottage. Big thumbs up for this one. Saving to my trip board.

It was pure happenstance that this place popped up while I was looking for properties on the Central Coast, but once I read about the place, I knew it would be the perfect place for my husband and I, who are animal lovers and vegans. The property overlooks the golden California hills where you can view the animals from the living room and outside space. The owners were so lovely and passionate about what they do. We opted for the tour and it was so informative and inspiring. What could be better than staying in a peaceful place while supporting an animal sanctuary? Thank you, Loving Farm Animal Sanctuary for such a memorable weekend!

Farm Love!
There is nothing better than waking up to greeting the animals in the morning. We were not able to do a tour because of timing, but got a chance to speak to Tracey and Bill a few times and hear stories. They could not be nicer people! The unit is comfortable and spacious and most of the activities in town and in tin city are a 20 min drive, so super simple. We will be back, had a lovely and peaceful time!

The cottage is clean and well appointed. The owners are wonderful and kind people who spent a lot of time showing us the animals and telling us so many fun stories about each one. The setting is spectacular and if you donate to the farm it’s such a worthy cause. The animals are all so content. You’ll never forget this experience!!

The property is beautiful. Gorgeous views, sweet animals to say hello to, and the cottage is so comfortable and clean! Beds were comfortable, everything immaculate. And the owners are SO lovely and passionate about their work. We brought our two daughters and we got the private tour of the farm and loved the experience. We will be back!
