The Australian Hotel St George

"Great budget accommodation in a beautiful truly Australian country location. Being a hotel, the meals are amazing, great value and huge, staff are great. Be aware it is noisy throughout the establishment until after close as to be expected in any Australian pub. So not for those who want a peaceful early night sleep. That said, it was enjoyable listening to the music, laughter and banter from below until close which is only 11pm, really early also for an Aussie pub. Location - Being beside the Balonne River, you will truly enjoy the long river walks morning and especially watching the sunset over the river, the bird life is incredible. Overall a fabulous weekend away."
