Farmstay at Fleece, Flock & Fibre an historic railway station in Taralga

"The farm was easy to find. The cottage was extraordinary: comfortable, spacious and clean. Can fit 4 people. My daughter enjoyed the sheep feeding and petting. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The place is just a couple of kilometres from Taralga, where there are a couple of nice places to have dinner. About a half an hour drive from Wombeyan Caves. Very convenient location."

"Mansour was a great host , no issues with communications at all , the couple of small issues we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Location was great , away from the town centre in a quiet farm atmosphere yet only 5-10 minutes to town , definitely a place to stay as far as price and function goes. We'll definitely be back , and can recommend it to anyone."

"A beautifully renovated country home with something for everyone. Lots of little thoughtful details which helped to make our stay more homely. The cozy fire with plenty of firewood, warm comfortable beds and lounge area was great for cold weekend in the country. It was great that we could include our dog too."

"Kathleen and Ken were very supportive and generous. The house is as described and very pleseant. However the yard is much larger than the photos show as it extends 360 degrees around the house and is fully fenced and safe for our two dogs to romp around. The views are also beautiful in all directions. Its very quiet. If you need to go into town it's a 15 min drive. We look forward to a revisit."

"A great place to get away from it all. Beautiful views, spectacular sunsets, open fires, and plenty of walks to do around the property. Mike was really helpful and generous with providing information. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything a large family needs. We would definitely come back to stay again."

"We had a lovely stay at Blue Slate Cottage, with cozy fires, wandering around the paddocks and our son loved seeing the animals like horses and kangaroos. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"We stayed at the cottage the end of June, so it was fairly cold. The fire was effective at keeping the cottage cosy, and the oil heater was a good backup through the night. A great place for a peaceful escape, nice rural outlook, sunset through the trees, Kookaburras at day break, a nice verandah which catches the afternoon sun. Easy country drive to places of interest and great eateries. Friendly, obliging hosts *****"

"Just simply magical. Clean, cozy, pet-friendly, impeccable kitchen, and just nature all around. What more can you ask for? Seriously can't fault this stay with anything. This is one of the best stays out there. The hosts (and their dogs) are extremely accomodating too!"
