"What a phenomenal house, location and host! We’ve been staying at Vrbo houses with my extended family every year for the last 15 years and I believe this is the best home and location, hands-down! The dock was perfect in the back of the property with great fishing and comfortable seating. So many extras with this home made it a great stay. It slept 9 comfortably and could have slept 10 easily all in real and comfortable beds. The master shower setup was a plus . It had its own sliding door access to the back porch as well. The large porch faced West so when you drink your morning coffee and want to sit outside and watch the ocean, the sun doesn’t heat you up or blind you because you’re in the shade. Big plus! The extra freezer helped a lot since we cook a lot. Plenty of parking area with room for the provided games under the house, in the shade. Property was close to town and major stores but far enough away that you would never know it. If I were to ever buy a beach home, this would be it. The owners built it themselves from my understanding and you can see the love and care for the home and for their guests in every corner. Well done! We will be back!"

"We stayed in this cabin for a quick fishing trip weekend to Rockport. The cabin was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching a great sunset. The pier is a short walk from cabin. We caught black drum, trout, redfish, and a stingray. The pier was well lit at night and the green-lights at the end were an added bonus."

"Great property, super comfy and felt like home. It was very clean and spacious and great views from the back dock. Really easy for us to put our kayaks in the back and hit the bay and flats from the house. Kayaking through the canals was fun too. It did not have a washer and dryer which was a minor inconvenience as most places we rent on VRBO have them included. You will just need to pack a little more if you are used to a washer and dryer like us. Other than that perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the breeze from upstairs or hanging out below on the swings. Would love to rent again."

"There wasn’t any communication needed. They did get us info in a timely manner. Our only concern was the amount of ants all over the property. I have a son that is highly allergic so we were a little on edge the entire time. They were mostly sugar ants but some that were not had us worried. It’s not on the owners but I didn’t think the buy salt and pepper for basic cooking. There were no supplies. That’s on us. We’re a soccer family and it’s the World Cup. We had to drive into corpus to watch the games as the TV is very small. Again, we weren’t here to watch tv but it was surprising. The master bedroom bed was pretty stiff but it didn’t bother me. As a whole, it was a good trip and did enjoy the home."
