Room (blankets and towels as well) smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the room was very cold despite heat being on. Convenient location in the center of town and breakfast was very good. I can handle being cold for one night but I really would prefer a place that does not smell like cigarettes.

Stay clear! Face value a good hotel centrally located with free parking in a city without any parking space. In fact very noisy, very poor cleaning. Upon (early) check-in given single room with dirty toilet bowl and showerbasin. Was upgraded to doubleroom with equally dirty bathroom and a completely loose faucet and a towel shelf that fell down on me.

Good hotel in a central position.

Good hotel central position. The single room was a a reasonable size (not a broom closet.) I also had a very small balcony. The breakfast buffet was reasonable. The eating area was excellent, being on the second floor and outside. My only criticism is that the fridge in the room was on the same circuit as the air con etc. Consequently, when you left your room and removed your card key, the fridge turned off. Crazy!!!! Tip. Ask for two cards, so you can leave one in the room. Do the "right thing" and turn the air con and lights off manually.

Centrally located

Very conveniently located in the center square of Tetovo. Bed and pillow were below average for 4 star hotel. Too much perfumed washing agent for the towels. Room overall was acceptable but could use some modernizing. Excellent service at reception and breakfast.

Loud and no parking

The reservation had a free parking included. There hotel had only 2 parking spots that were shared among all hotel guests and restaurant guests. There was a restaurant with a kids games corner right across my room. They were screaming and yelling until 11pm.

Nice hotel for business in Tetovo.

The check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean and offered what I needed for a 2 day business trip. Breakfast was ok; typical for this area.

Tres bel hotel construit il n y a pas tres longtemps, d une proprete extreme Le personnel est d une grande gentillesse, jeunes en majorite, du lot je distingue la jeune femme qui m a recu la premiere fois et que je couvre d eloges Il y avait malheureusement un membre du personnel, en voie de devenir gerant, qui a ete tres impoli avec moi au petit-dejeuner La chambre etait tres grande avec un coin salon, et dotee d une tres belle salle de bain Le petit-dejeuner etait exquis, et l emplacement de l hotel agreable, car on apercoit les montagnes de la region qui sont d une grande majeste J insiste sur la gentillesse de personnel, avec la seule exception dont j ai parle plus haut

Terrific hotel

Spent 3 nights here. The service was exceptional. The staff very friendly, the young lady on the reception (Vina) was more than happy to give good advice on getting around Macedonia. Very professional warm person who is a credit to the hotel. As tourists this makes things much easier. The hotel had live music, the food was excellent and really really cheap. Would recommend this place who so wishes to travel roun Macedonia. Thank you Hotel Lirak. And thank you Vina for all your help.

Ignore exterior -- it's great inside!

This hotel looks unpromising from the outside -- an ugly building with a casino attached. But I had a great experience. My room was surprisingly large and comfortable, and relatively quiet. Great breakfast. Its location in the main city square is also appealing if you want or need to be in the most populated and busy areas of Tetovo. A short walk to the mountains and some nice views, etc. In general, the Lirak is not only good value but a satisfying one as well.

Be careful if driving

I travel for business frequently and not normally have time to leave feedback. With this hotel you need to be aware of a few things. 1- The hotel has only 4 parking spaces in the lane at the rear of the hotel. These parking spots are ALWAYS occupied. We had to park in the public parking area behind the hotel that cost EUR 10.00 per day. Well that's what we were charged. Hotel advertised parking available which is not true given that no parking was available in the 3 days I was there. 2- Noisy at night. There is a casino literally next door with noise that kept me awake till early morning.
