Stunning views and property
Hubby and I with our chocolate lab enjoyed our stay at the guest house! The owners are so helpful with instructions and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. So close to Grand Targhee for skiing and also to town for restaurants. Loved the amazing views and the peace and quiet on their 45 acres. Such an amazing place and we will definitely be back.

Winter getaway
This is the perfect place to get away from it all. The stay was really quiet and comfortable. The hot tub with a view of the Tetons is amazing. The location is perfect - about 10 minutes to town with a huge grocery store and lots of restaurants.

Beautiful view. So nice to have a hot tub or sauna after skiing. Driggs only 10 minutes away with a great grocery store great restaurants. Furniture and amenities in the place needs some upgrading, but very spacious.

Beautiful location!!
We enjoyed our stay, the views are so amazing and ending each day with some hottub time was perfect!! The house is fully stocked with everything you need!! We were up early and back late each night so we didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the other features the property offers. The drive into Yellowstone was longer then we anticipated but still made the commute a couple times. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

A beautiful view everyday
The views off the back deck are nothing short of spectacular. Whether watching a sunset, a rainbow or storms rolling in, it never disappointed. Appreciated the bonus features of the sauna and hot tub after days with long hikes, and the kids thought the bunkhouse was the coolest thing ever. Property owner is very friendly and responsive. The local area they information provided was quite helpful and appreciated. With Yellowstone and the Tetons easily accessible, and all the major amenities you need in the nearby towns, it was a perfect setting for our family’s week-long vacation. Highly recommend.

Excellent hospitality with beautiful views of the Tetons
This property was perfect for our family of 4. Leslie was very welcoming and made us feel at home, offering suggestions of activities in the area and the best hikes nearby. The cabin was clean, the deck overlooking the Tetons was perfect for dinner or morning coffee, and was in a remote setting yet not far from town. We hope to return!

Family vacation
Everything was perfect. The house and location was just what we were looking for to relax in for a few days after expiring the state parks. We just hung out at the house and enjoyed the beauty or the land, the hot tub, fire pit with s’more, late nights star gazing and the kids loved the kids bunk house. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for our family. The near by town of victor was also a lot of fun with some of the best milkshakes

Views you will never forget
The location and views are incredible. Leslie is a dream to work with on your stay. With the deck, hot tub, fire pit and chairs on the lawn you never want to go inside the house.

Beautiful and quiet
We loved our stay. Leslie was so friendly and welcoming. The property is beautiful. We loved sitting on the back deck each night. Driggs is a great place to visit for dinners out, but the kitchen was also well stocked. We also really enjoyed the beautiful artwork throughout the house. It took about 1.5 hours to get into Grand Teton, but we still made the trip multiple times. We also took Leslie’s suggestion and hiked Darby Canyon, which our teenagers absolutely loved.

Amazing Teton Views!
My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon here, and it was absolutely wonderful! We had plenty of privacy on the property, but it was also really nice being just a short drive to Driggs. The views of the tetons from the house are INCREDIBLE! What a relaxing, beautiful, and fun vacation. The views of the tetons from the hot tub are also amazing. Leslie was very helpful for us as we were exploring the area, and she gave us some great advice for the rest of our travel plans. We CAN'T WAIT to come back here soon!

Great stay
Beautiful view of the mountains and great access to trails and forest roads. Easy communication with Leslie. Great mix of solitude but also 10 minutes from town that has grocery stores and cafes with anything you could want. We stayed for a month and by the end of the stay we were wanting to stay longer!

Incredible View and Hiking
We loved our stay at Thistle Dew. It's remote, quiet and has an incredible outdoor deck with a breathtaking view. You could hang out there all day. Leslie provided us with an armload of information about the surrounding area, including several fabulous hikes very close to the cabin. Take her advice! We took four of the hikes she recommended and loved everyone of them. We even saw a bear!

Simply the Best Teton Stay
Stayed here while skiing at Grand Targhee. Amazing Teton views with everything you could need. Guest House was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hot tub and sauna especially nice after a day skiing. Hosts were very helpful, pleasant and available if needed. We appreciated all the local info provided with this listing. Highly recommend a stay at Thistle Dew!

We can’t imagine a better spot - from the accessibility to Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks, the wonderful communities that welcomed us for hiking and biking and, most important, Thistledew Guest House with Don and Leslie as our perfect hosts! Highly recommend! Oh and the sunrises. . .

Wonderful place to get away from it all.
A wonderful place situated on 40 acres surrounded by amazing mountain views. The residence has more than everything you need to feel like home. Honestly, I didn't do much more than sleep there as there are so many outdoor activities calling your name. Lots of wonderful hiking and scenery to absorb and help sooth the soul. A great place to unwind and get away from it all. The owners are wonderfully accommodating and genuinely nice folks. I enjoyed talking with them. Their personal residence is located close by on the property. I highly recommend staying here if this area is to be included in your travel plans. Yellowstone and Jackson Hole are not too far away and neither are a couple of nice small towns to explore including Driggs and Victor. There is a framed quote on the wall within this residence from D.H. Lawrence that includes the words "...Cool, unlying life will rush in..." once we get outside our daily routine and our rigid selves and return to the forests again. I could not agree more!

Amazing! Such a great location and everything you need. Leslie was so nice and accommodating, we had two dogs with us who didn't want to leave. The deck view was breathtaking and such a great hub for adventures all over the valley.

Our experience was great. House is tucked away in a nice area with great views of the Tetons. We were very comfortable in the house. Leslie and Don are great hosts. The Teton Canyon hike they recommend was a great hike. There are a lot of outdoor activities to chose from and the house is in a good location for adventure.

Loved this place!
My wife and I stayed at Thistle Dew for 4 nights. We loved the place which is situated on 45 very quiet acres with a direct view of the west side of the Tetons. The owners (great people!) live in the house on the property but we have as much privacy as we wanted but they were available as needed. The place can accommodate up to 4 people as there are two bedrooms. For a small group this is wonderful, quiet place to stay. Highly recommended!

Quite, restful, spectacular views, well maintained, and exceptional personal.
Our two week stay was outstanding. Great location for Grand Tetons National Park, Yellowstone, and Targhee National Forest. Also, To the south is Palisades Reservoir and Sun Valley. We saw moose, herds of elk, buffalo, deer, wolves, and Grizzlies. The local people seemed friendly, informative, and helpful. Good food available in Driggs, Victor, and the grocery is fantastic. There were 4 of us plus an infant and we all fit comfortably. The view from the patio is absolutely amazing plus we were able to relax in the hot tub every morning and look at the Tetons. The owner Leslie came over to meet us and was so nice. We are already planning the next stay!

Memorable Accommodations
We rented both the Thistle Dew Cabin as well as the Thistle Dew Guest House for a four day stay during the August 2017 total solar eclipse. The two facilities were very clean and spacious, and easily accommodated our large group of friends and family. It was a nice perk to have two separate "houses" as the cabin is comprised of a custom log residence while the guest house is a large apartment/condo 100 yards away. Both lodgings are very cozy, arranged in a private, pastoral and peaceful setting with a knockout view. The Roth's were very communicative throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable guesthouse, nice view to the Tetons
We stayed for 4 nights. Very comfortable house with almost everything we need inside and even more than we expected (like Alexa and Amazon prime TV). The owner kindly contacted us in the first evening to know how we arrived. The house is in the fields, but the mountains, including Grand Teton, are seen well from the balcony. It is about 25 minutes drive to the very nice Grand Targhee resort with chairlift to the great panorama to the Grand Teton. About 50 minutes drive to Jackson Hole. We spent most of the time in the Wyoming side of the Tetons (Jenny lake, String lake, Phelps lake) and this house was still very convenient location for the prize ( the Wyoming part is much more expensive). Also one hour and half drive to West Yellowstone, so it is a convenient location to visit all famous glaciers in the Yellowstone park. The only one small suggestion regarding the kitchen is to have a dish rack in case one needs to wash few dishes by hands and then to have a place to drain them instead of using the large dishwasher ( also it is practical because some dishes and pans is better to wash by hands). To summarize, the house was nearly ideal for our great vacation.
