Lovely staff and great location in an historic setting. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Parking is tricky but the hotel is close to the lift which takes you down to the lower town near the free railway station car park
It was great. The tunnel tour was fantastic and the staff lovely. Location and proximity to station parking were bonuses. Only little thing I wondered about is whether previous guests in our room were smokers. It smelled as if that were the case. I don't know what your policies are on this.
Great 3 star in old town Teruel. Old building with lots of history made new into a hotel. Rooms are big, mattress comfortable, breakfast buffet a good option if prepaid thru Expedia.
Convenient location, comfortable and owners are around during the weekend at least to tour you into their medieval tunnels and offer you a local pastry during breakfast.
If there is only one thing that it could be better is towels. They are cheap and rough. Aside from that all was great.
Excellent hotel in Teruel, comfortable rooms, clean and spacious, its location is fantastic within walking distance of the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very highly recommended hotel with near ideal location. Outstanding services, very courteous staff, good included breakfast. Modern and clean decor. Take the free guided tour of the medial cave. It only takes 15 min but it’s worth it. The guide is very funny and has a great sense of humour while remaining knowledgeable and interesting. A must do.
Overall a very solid recommandation. You can’t go wrong
The hotel is right in the old town with plenty to see and do in the area. Restaurants close by. Checking in is stressful though, if you have a car. The hotel entrance is on a very narrow street, on a hill and buses go through there. We managed to stop by turning right immediately after the hotel and pulling onto the pavement.
Parking in the station car park was free and safe. We actually walked back to the car with our bags after checking out as there is a lift that takes you to the bottom of the steps.
Very friendly family run hotel. Great location and everything works.
We even had a personal tour of the "tunnels' which is the USP of this hotel.
The only downside is the difficulty in getting to the hotel if you are driving. Just make sure you know where to park, then you can easily walk there. A few parking areas around within 5 mins walk.

Great city centre location close to many restaurants. Wonderful storage for my bicycle in the basement. Good buffet breakfast, tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable bed.
Second stay at this lovely hotel. Very clean, comfortable, helpful, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
We will definitely be staying again next year.
I loved this hotel. Room was comfortable, it was close to everything and it had some underground passages that were amazing. I would definitely stay again at this hotel.
We loved the location! Perfect for sight-seeing and close to almost everything.
The rooms were great, the staff was outstanding. I will stay here when I visit next time.
This was a last minute stay when we encountered serious snow while driving from Madrid to Morella. It got so bad the road closed and we had to turn back to Teruel. We didn't get on to hotels.com until about 6:30pm and fortunately El Mudayyan had 2 rooms. The rooms, beds, bathrooms are what I would call typical nice European quality. Not fancy but that's not what we were paying for. Service was really good. Anna and others went out of their way with helping us to replan our travels and help us explore Teruel during our unexpected evening there.
A completely unexpected surprise was when they offered us a tour of some ancient tunnels that go from the hotel basement to a nearby church. These were used for secret access by clerics etc. back in the day. It was a highlight and especially great since we knew nothing about it.
