"We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background!
Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy!
Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."
"We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. There is no public transportation, and it is very difficult to get to any of the nearby beaches on foot."
"No está iluminado por la noche, el baño no está ventilado y huele bastante mal. El personal, aunque muy amable, solo hanla italiano. La persiana solo se puede bajar desde fuera del apartamento. La piscina estaba muy bonita y muy bien. Deberían de tener mantas en las habitaciones, solamente había una sábana muy fina para dormir. "
"We enjoyed our staying at B&B Le Saline. Stefano is a wonderful and attentive host who uses his artistic talent to make your staying confortabile and appetizing. With his breakfast, one begins the day with Sicilian flavors and creativity!
The location is great because is just about 10 min by car from Ortigia, and is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. "

Sicilian farmhouse from the 19th Century - close to the beach and with a large pool
10/10 Excellent
"It was quite an amazing and unique.Beautiful large accodation with lots of areas to either meet or have quite time. The pool a definate bonus which the children loved as did we. Abbi who manages and takes care of is lovely and works so hard to keep all areas clean and tidy.Had a wonderful time with my daughter and two grand sons. The pizza place down the road on the water is fantastic. Little and made by elderly gent. Small but obviously popular. Many Thanks. We only just got home."
Beautiful detached house with private pool near the sea.
10/10 Excellent
"The villa is traditional and rustic, everything worked well - air con, Wi-Fi, Shower and bathroom facs, comfortable firm beds and pillows, dishwasher and washing machine and the best bit about this villa is the outdoor space - dining area outside in good shade, wonderful pool and terrace areas to enjoy the fantastic views of Plemmirio Syracuse area. Short drive to Arenella beach (10mins). Lidl - short drive to outskirts of Syracuse. Local grocery store a 8min walk down the hill on roadside - breads and pastries, cheese and ham, drinks. In close proximity of the sea, need a car to drive there as no direct path access to walk to sea access. We had a mixture of chill out days in the villa and beach time at Arenella. Bed and parasol at beach is overpriced as the Italians have already expressed in news reports, but the villa has a good parasol you can take to the beach. If you want to eat out be prepared for a drive to places, there are a couple of local beach resort restaurants but as there are no paths on roadsides it’s safer to drive. Uber service available. "
"The resort is set in magnificent grounds , surrounded by farmland.
It has a beautiful swimming pool and easy access to the beach ( which is pebbles—-but beautiful sand and water once you wade out)"
