"Great mountain cabin for a quick retreat. Well stocked full kitchen. The fireplace created a lovely atmosphere. Had deer right outside the cabin while we ate dinner. We’d definitely stay here again!"

""Lucky Cabin" is nice. On arrival I found it clean and ready for me - but...I found a few things likely left behind by prior visitors that I just said, "Uhhh, no." and left it where I found it. The only major improvement I would appreciate is local TV options (cable or antenna if either is an option in the neighborhood), better cell coverage (zero to two bars and probably not something the owner can readily improve), and Internet coverage (there is none). Cell service with my provider was very spotty (hint: Go to the kitchen! LOL). I only had to make one phone call, but it was spotty and eventually just dropped out altogether. There is a good selection of DVD videos in the cabin, but I found a few cases empty (no disk) and the ones I did happen to choose to try were fingerprinted and scratched, resulting in poor performance.Note that with all that said, yes, I would absolutely stay there again."

"Our stay was enjoyable. The (inside) property was clean, spacious and well decorated. The seating areas on the decks, however, were covered in pine straw and obviously had not been cleaned for some time. Sleeping space was adequate, although we found the fourth bedroom (upstairs) to actually be one open sleeping space containing four beds... which provided little privacy for two couples utilizing the space. We found the gas fire pit on the deck to be inoperable due to a broken knob, as well as an empty propane bottle. Our host suggested we use the actual fire pit in the yard, but due to the extremely dry conditions, we opted not to. All in all, our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. With a little more attention to the exterior, it would have been even more so."
