"The room was nicer than my apartment. I booked the room with the jetted tub, but was given the room with a sauna. That was my only disappointment. The room was amazing. There was a full kitchen in the apartment, including a large fridge and freezer. It also had everything you could possibly need to cook a small meal. The recliners were very comfortable. The bed was extra soft and had a heated mattress. The shower was extra hot and the water pressure was perfect. I really enjoyed the towel warmer. The wifi was strong and reliable during my stay. There was a TV with streaming channels, a DVD player, and a CD player. There were also DVDs and CDs for your use in the room. There was even a CD player in the sauna. It made it extra relaxing. The owners are very nice. They allowed me to store my luggage there before check-in. They also left me some chocolates, chips, and some wine and beer for my stay. If you are ever in George Town, I highly recommend staying here. It is worth it."

"Lovely house with eveything needed for a fantastic stay. Clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The location is excellent; on the water but easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants.Communication from the host was excellent, and access was simple with great instructions.Our family loved our stay and would stay again in an instant."

"This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip. The museum is well worth a visit too, there is so much history in this part of Tasmania."

"Rating: (3/5)We recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, would not choose to return.Cleanliness: (2/5)The cleanliness was disappointing. We discovered dirty, unwashed dishes left in the oven, which we had to clean ourselves before using. The biggest let down was the bathroom – during our entire two-day stay, the shower drainage was completely blocked. Black dirt was backing up from the drain, making it unusable and frankly quite disgusting.Location: (5/5)The location, however, was fantastic. The property offers a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the sea from both the deck and the master bedroom, which we truly enjoyed.Amenities: (5/5)The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Every room had its own heater, and we especially appreciated the portable gas heater which made sitting on the deck warm and comfortable.House Layout: (3/5)The house layout was a bit awkward. While advertised as a 4-bedroom home, you had to walk through one bedroom to access another, which compromised privacy.Overall:While the location and amenities were excellent, the poor cleanliness made the stay less enjoyable. With better maintenance, this could have been a great experience – but sadly, we won’t be returning."
