A lovely spot to stay for a mini break. Rooms are comfortable and ultra clean. Staff are helpful. easy parking for your car. Situated in the centre of town. The dining room is nice with good options on the menu. What I didn’t like was that we had only just begun our entree when they brought out the main meal. This meant they sat on the pass again for too long making the meals suboptimal.

Staff were excellent and room was nice but unable to open any windows or to see out except for the sky. They have put in an extra pane of glass for the noise which is good but unable to see out of the windows was like staying in a box. An alarm woke me up at 3am and continued until 9am. Although the staff apologised it was very inconvenient I couldn't get back to sleep. We also learnt this was not the first time this had happened!!! This hotel is rated at four and a half star but except for the price should only be 3-4 star. Food was very expensive in the restaurant. $43 for a small piece of salmon. I really wanted to stay there because I had heard so much about the Commercial but to be honest it did not live up to the expectation.

Cute but noisy.

Booked the downstairs room (only pet friendly room) nice and spacious, however the guests in the room upstairs could be heard with every footstep thru the entire night. We gave up at 3am and reluctantly started our day. The bed was also super soft with no support. Bodies were in a “V” shape due to sinking into mattress. Staff are really nice. Bar had a great selection of drinks. Clientele only appeared to be Tea & Scone people.

Nice not great

Not very friendly checkin. Dinner in restaurant was disappointing. Small serving but I order Beef Checks but was given Osso Bucco with no explanation for the change. Bar staff had very little knowledge on the wine list and my husband had to advise the person on how to use the cork screw. Not friendly or very informed on the wine and food being offered.
