The Tudor Merchant’s House is also well worth a visit to learn some local history. The enchanting Colby Woodland Garden is only 9 miles away, and will delight visitors of all ages, but younger guests might prefer a day out to the Dinosaur Park (3 miles).

Leave coats and shoes in the entrance hall before moving through to the open-plan living area. This bright and airy space has fantastic views of the beach and comfortable sofas to lounge on in front of the TV after a long day.
