Pottery cafe had good selection of gluten free food Good cycling on the back roads and on the path by the stream to the east of the town over the railway.

Room was clean ,comfortable and had well equipped kitchen. Very good value for money.

Everything we needed and nothing that we didn't! The induction cooking hot plate is excellent. Great location, very private. Host very quick to respond.

Did work well for the numbers we had. Nine of us fitted into the cottage. I think the eclectic surroundings were a bit surprising, but on reflection not negative… just… surprising. Lots of little farm animals which was fun. Price for stay very good. I’d call this casual country. Owners/hosts very ...

Some good cafes and restaurants, but not a "must see".
Made for a good stop over from Dunedin to Kaikoura
