"Location, location! On the edge of popular market square, loaded with restaurants and historical sites. Cabs and bus transportation a few yards away. Special mention to breakfast room staff. Natalya and her coworker (sorry I did not catch her name)were on top of everything every minute, and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Natalya every morning while she buzzed around the room replenishing food, removing dishes and performing general cleaning. Housekeeping should also be mentioned. Everything was spotless, and it was a pleasure to have daily cleaning in the room, as this practice has been diminished at many hotels. I did notice that most guests were my age or older, and wonder if Rezydent Hotel is classified as a "pensioners" hotel, not that it matters. Like me, I assume other guests were attracted by bargain rates."

"The breakfast at the hotel is not bad but compared with everywhere else we ate, was overpriced. After the first day of breakfast at the hotel, we found lots of amazing bakeries nearby at much better value. We loved having the complementary tea and coffee in the hotel lobby which was a comfortable place to relax between excursions. The hotel bar was great, good value and excellent service. "

"Nice parkside location next to tram lines. Airport express bus #300 ($1.20 US when I used it) was 25 min and located a block away. Everything in Krakow is walkable from here or you can hop on a tram. Hotel was quiet. Castle was a short stroll away. "

"Wow, what can I say! This has to be the most beautiful and elegant boutique hotel I have ever stayed at. On entering, the foyer is small but beautifully decorated and the staff make you feel very welcome. Check in was quick and efficient and we were shown to our room by a kind gentleman. The room, a superior double, was stunning. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep. The room looked onto the street and it was wonderful to hear the horse and carriage trotting by every so often. The bathroom had all the amenities you would need. The bottle of wine and amaretto was a lovely touch. The breakfast is out of this world! We ate numerous times at the renowned Fiorentina restaurant which is part of the hotel. The food and service were impeccable. Krakow is a beautiful city and Balthazar hotel was just the best place to stay to enjoy everything krakow has to offer. We had a very early return flight and we were given a wonderful breakfast box away with us which was delicious. Thank you so much Balthazar hotel for a wonderful stay, we hope to be back next year. "The location is excellent. It’s right next to Old town, The Castle.Easy walk from train station ( 20 mins train from airport) The cost £6-7 one way for two. The room is good size with everything what you need. The breakfast is the best in European countries. The reception is so helpful, the Bar is great. As Expedia member we received the bottle of Italian Red wine and quality is perfect. Just one little note - trams , you can hear through double glazed windows but it’s not crucial. Maybe request a room faced yard side? We would like recommend Hotel to every guest.Thank you "
