The bed struck the perfect balance of soft and firm, exactly what was needed after long days trekking the valleys. Breakfasts here were something special. On my second morning I practically leapt out of bed for my honeycomb — thick, dark pine honey with a resinous strength — paired with crisp potato pancakes. I’m not usually a cheese person, but I gave in and was rewarded with an assortment of dips that made the spread feel like a feast. The perfect start to the day."
