About this property

Historic Temecula Ranch Retreat - Sleeps 12 - 5 Acres & Ancient Oaks

  • Gemini Moon Ranch: Where Time Stands Still

Escape to a one-of-a-kind historic ranch tucked into the peaceful De Luz hills above Temecula. Designed and built by artist-builder Robert Morris, whose distinctive work can be seen throughout Old Town Temecula, Gemini Moon Ranch is filled with rustic architecture, handcrafted details and unexpected spaces beneath ancient oak trees.

Spread across more than five wooded acres, the ranch feels wonderfully removed from everyday life—yet Old Town Temecula, Wine Country, restaurants and local attractions are just a short drive away.

    THE SPACE

Your reservation includes two private, separately entered accommodations, giving your group room to spread out while staying together on the same property.

    The Gallery
    • Private queen bedroom
    • Bunk beds and two full-size sleeper couches in the living area
    • Large private bathroom with soaking tub
    • Kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator

    The Cowboy Room
    • Full-size bed
    • Full-size sleeper couch
    • Private bathroom
    • Full kitchen with stove and full-size refrigerator

Together, the accommodations can sleep up to 12 guests.

    THE RANCH

The real magic is outside. Wander beneath old-growth oaks, explore rustic paths and decks, discover vintage structures and architectural details, or simply find a quiet place to sit and enjoy the stillness.

    Guests can enjoy:

    • Outdoor kitchen with grill, smoker, two-burner stove and sink
    • Multiple decks, porches and outdoor seating areas
    • Fire pits
    • Walking paths and wooded areas
    • Seasonal creek and creekside areas
    • Plenty of free on-site parking

This is a rustic historic property—not a conventional hotel or suburban vacation home. Its quirks, craftsmanship and connection to nature are a big part of what makes staying here special.

    LOCATION

Gemini Moon Ranch is located in De Luz, approximately:

    • 15 minutes from Old Town Temecula
    • 20–30 minutes from Temecula Wine Country
    • About 1 hour from San Diego
    • About 2 hours from Los Angeles

Spend the day wine tasting, exploring Old Town, hiking, golfing, horseback riding or taking a hot-air balloon ride—then return to the quiet of the ranch.

    GUEST ACCESS

Guests have private access to the Gallery and Cowboy Room accommodations and designated shared outdoor areas of the ranch.

Peter and Tracy live in the private upstairs residence. The west side of the property and workshop area are reserved for owner use and clearly marked.
