Great Roomy House in a Cool Neighborhood

The host was excellent and provided great recommendations for the neighborhood. Lots of food, drink and shopping nearby. It was perfect for our guys trip.

Ideal home for a group

Overall this home fit all of our needs. The backyard was excellent and the house was in a good location. The home was also very clean and was stocked with plenty of towels, cleaning supplies, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans.

Great Bayview Property for Getaway with Friends

I booked this house for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. It was a great space for a large group. The host was so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The house had a great communal hangout space on the first floor. Would definitely come back!

Solid group house

Fun place and unique layout with plenty of outdoor space. Host was great with communication. Well stocked home. Some cool decor, some older decor in the house. Had a group of 12 and worked out great.

Awesome stay

If you like fun and quirky you will love this house. If you love quirky you will want to buy this house. Had a just wonderful stay with my family for a long weekend visiting my niece. It's hard to describe the house - fun, quirky, comfortable... lots to explore and discover. Really great communication. Everyone in my family loved it.

BEST TRIP and HOUSE

We had a wonderful time. Scott was the best person to work with. House had so much room for our bachelorette party. The backyard was perfect for everyone to enjoy the weather. Plenty of space and beds for all of the girls! We will be back. Highly Recommend!! 5 minutes from downtown and can walk to many food spots nearby!

Fun week in Milwaukee!

Our family (group of 11) loved staying at Howell House! The house had tons of space and the room situation worked out great as we had parents, grandparents, kids 3-11. Loved the backyard for hanging out and then we could all fit around dining table inside too. Neighborhood was perfect! We walked a few times to Humboldt park for kids to play and for a cool summer concert Tuesday night (beer garden too!). The house had everything we needed and owners were quick to communicate with us if we had questions about house or things to do in area. We would recommend and love to visit again!

Perfect house for our stay

The house was great. We hung out both inside and outside of the house in the yard and the spaces were great for us. We were up in Milwaukee for a bachelor party and there were plenty of bedrooms, a nice yard outside for a fire, and space to sit inside and just chill. Obviously Milwaukee has lots of great drinking options with breweries, but the food in town and even in the Bay View neighborhood was delicious as well. I would be happy to stay at this house again. The host was good with communication and helpful with suggestions of where to go as well.

Nice large house for a group or big family

Rental certainly expectations and matched the listing. Lots of rooms and space, nice back yard for social distance gatherings. Very nice bathrooms, hottub was nice. Had some quirks with air conditioning on main floor that needs to be adressed. Otherwise great experience.

Fabulous property and host!

This is an incredible house, especially for large groups. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and this house became our homebase. There was plenty of space for everyone. The house never felt crowded. The yard an outdoor space was just perfect and we made great use of the hot tub. Scott was an incredible communicator and made us feel so welcome staying in their home. The location is close to everything you could possibly need. We were at max 13 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to be I highly recommend this as great place to stay!!

Perfect home away from home

This house was PERFECT for our group of girls. We came for a bachelorette party and all of us felt so comfortable in the house. We all felt right at home with how cozy it was. Scott made everything so simple as well. Any questions I had- he answered extremely quick and was helpful with recommendations of places to go in the area. There’s plenty of space in the house where you don’t need to feel like you’re on top of each other. If I ever go back to this area, I will 100% be staying here again.

Wedding weekend stay

The listing of beds does not match the actual house which was extremely disappointing for my family. The listing said there would be 1 king, 3 queens, 1 double and a room with two twins. Instead there was 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double and 4 twins. Did not work out well at all for our family situation. There are also lots of spiders in this house.

The Howell House

Our family stay at this large 3 story house was wonderful! Very unique vintage home with stairways to hideaways! Nice big fenced back yard to cookout and enjoy our family. We had so much room even with our large group of 11! Beautiful remodeled modern bathrooms and large dining area and nicely appointed kitchen kept us from feeling cramped! Especially loved being able to pull in to the garage for another level of security. Our celebration had us enjoying the downtown MKE area and we felt very close to everything including a beautiful park just up the street!! Scott and Carrie accommodated an earlier than expected arrival which helped out immensely. I would truly recommend this wonderful home for any large gathering 🥰

Cute, quirky, but most importantly well thought out. We lacked for nothing and that's saying something because we made brownies... TWICE, okay? The hosts are accommodating and helpful. They've created a great space to help bring your loved ones together.

Fun big house for a family gathering

A house with many rooms and secret back stairways created a fun place to explore. We were in town for a family wedding. Plenty of room for ten adults. We enjoyed the hot tub and the attic fitness center is a nice touch! Thanks, Scott!

Ohio Family enjoyed Milwaukee

The house had everything you could need. The family enjoyed their walks to coffee shops, a park, restaurants and pubs. Parking was never a challenge. The hosts were only a phone call or text away and offered us suggestions to restaurants. The backyard was prefect for our pet dog. There was even a swing for our visiting granddaughter.

Family Christmas

We were in Milwaukee for a family Christmas and The Howell House was an excellent choice for us. Scott was attentive and helpful, the house was really clean and classy. Kitchen and linens were well stocked. All the little nooks around the house made for really fun play for the kids. All in all a great experience!
