The Space:

Owl Meadows has been completely rebuilt to a standard you rarely find in a Telluride rental. The state-of-the-art kitchen is built for real cooking, with top-of-the-line appliances and room for the whole group. The living room has a gas fireplace and opens onto a balcony looking straight at Ajax Peak, made for a morning coffee or an après-ski drink.



There are two king bedrooms, each with its own bath, plus a powder room for guests. Every bed has a St. Regis mattress (the Simmons-built bed used in St. Regis hotels) and five-star hotel linens, and each room has built-in oak wardrobes, so you can unpack properly. The primary bathroom has a private steam room, the best way to reset after a day on the mountain. In-unit laundry means you can pack lighter.



Guest Access:

Your home is private, with keypad entry and no shared interior spaces. The private heated garage fits one car, and ski storage keeps boots and gear dry and out of the living space.



The Neighborhood:

Owl Meadows sits on the quiet west end of town, one block from Lift 7 and half a block from Clark's Market. Telluride is a 10-block Victorian mining town at the end of a box canyon, a National Historic Landmark with Colorado Avenue running through the middle. Restaurants, trails, and the free gondola to Mountain Village are an easy walk or a short shuttle ride. In summer, the San Miguel River Trail and the open meadows of the Valley Floor start right outside. The festival calendar (Bluegrass, Film, Jazz, and more) is one of the best in the mountain west, with most events in the park at the east end of Main Street.



Getting Around:

240 South Mahoney Drive, Unit 19, at the base of the ski area. Lift 7 is one block away. The Galloping Goose free shuttle loops all of Telluride every 20 minutes, including the stop at the free gondola to Mountain Village. Clark's Market for groceries is half a block away. With the garage, you may not need to move the car all week.



Other Things to Note:

· The home has several floors with interior stairs and is not accessible for guests with limited mobility.

· No air conditioning. Telluride summers are cool.

· Animals welcome. $175 animal sanitation fee applies. Pay in advance. Please keep animals off furniture and beds.

· Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM.
