"This was my second stay, returning after three years and my stay was even better than the first. The staff were superb. There was a weather incident upcoming during my stay and they were very knowledgeable. Also it was just nice to talk about living there rather than the usual hostel talk. The beds were good and comfortable. Having a curtain really shuts you away and gives a good sleep. So very happy for that. Always loved the breakfast spread. It's so unique and if you need a reason to stay here, this is a good one."

"The smell of mildew in the kitchen area and bathroom was overpowering. It was really bad.Neither of the bedrooms is big enough to accommodate the size of bed in there. Couldn’t walk around either bed or open one of the bedroom doors completely because it was blocked by bed. The photos were best part of the listing. Loved Sagres, whish we would have booked different accommodation. "

"Really nice house as advertised. Plenty of nice towels etc.. Also the hosts (Rental Valley) were first class. Gas bottles were replaced immediately when we needed them. When we (stupidly) locked ourselves out of the house Inge at the office got straight back to us to say she would sort it and Anna, the local host, was there in less than an hour on a Sunday afternoon to let us in. Thank you! "

"Good concept, nice location, easy access and good outside area. The property is in poor condition, especially the batheroom and oven. It doesn't look very well maintained and it wasn't very clean when we checked in."

"Nice place. Two small bedrooms and two full baths, all in excellent condition. Air condition in each room works great. TV has good selection of channels and is internet connected. Kitchen well stocked for a short visit. No iron or ironing board (which is surprising) or washer. Walkout patio was very nice but the pool is ridiculously small and legitimately for two people-it looks much bigger in the photos than in reality. Unfortunately, only one lounge chair for four people, but supposedly that is being replaced (since it was noted in other review, should have been replaced before our arrival). If the price is right, worthwhile stay. VRBO lists this as all-in pricing but then when you pay there’s an overpriced cleaning fee (for such a small place). Sagres is very small so location is somewhat irrelevant and you can easily drive to everything. "

"Great location however there was a mix up in the description on VRBO. That being said it was rectified in the end with a bit of a refund. Communication with Rental Valley was very good and they followed through with what they said."
