"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "I loved it, the cactus garden outside my bedroom window, the rustic nature of the place and our host's care and friendliness. The place was clean, with a well equipped kitchen including a water filter tap. Lovely to be able to light a fire in the stove when chilly in the evening. Gautiza is very pretty and quiet. Discovered an area to swim nearby towards the end of the trip. And a wonderful coastal walk. The location is great. Highly recommend Sylvia's as a place to stay. "

"Very good all-inclusive catering with multiple a la carte restaurants. Generous and extensive bar. Varied and decent quality evening entertainment. Standard buffet has very little variety which puts pressure on to book the restaurants at the midnight deadline. We managed OK, but it's hassle that could be avoided. Staff were the most helpful I've ever encountered and all the facilities were very very nice, clean and well kept. No pressure on sunbeds when we visited in mid November. Easy access to the beach and local town."
