Very nice, friendly and helpfull reception and service team. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Not noisy even it is in the center of Tegus. For me a perfect stay at this hotel

A nice refuge from the gritty Centro area. The staff was great, breakfast pancakes and fruit were tasty, and it's close to Parque Concordia, with its faux Mayan architecture, which I think is the coolest thing in the city center,

The hotel although small is very comfortable, clean, safe and from a short distance from the city's downtown. The staff was very courteous, affable, always ready to help in any way. I had a great experience staying and I would definitely return with my eyes closed.

Well located & Clean

Well located to downtown, rooms were clean, with plenty of hot water in the shower. The reception desk people were very polite and helpful. The restaurant staff could be just a little more enthusiastic and welcoming & cheerful.

Good, inexpensive choice.

A clean hotel with a pleasant staff and indoor parking just two blocks from the central square. The rooms are simple but comfortable. A great choice for us near friends and spots we wanted to visit. The only downside is that guest and neighborhood noise can be an issue.

Hotel céntrico , escogí este hotel por qué estaba cerca de la secretaría de salud , y quería evitar el tráfico ya que para poder llegar a esta zona hay que aguantarse un tráfico de casi 1 hora , el hotel es muy limpio los felicito no me gusto que no tengan shampoo , tampoco tienen plancha de ropa , el agua que dan en una jarra en la habitación sabe rara (como que fuera de la llave ) las habitaciones son sencillas pero limpias y la cama es muy cómoda , la zona es silenciosa , por las noches no están seguro caminar porque está desolado pero de día si es seguro . la atención es muy buena muy amable todo el personal , el desayuno es típico del país y hay opción de panqueques y otros extras con cargo , también tiene parqueo privado y eso me gusto mucho , en si , si volvería a este hotel , es más solo para descansar pero no hay vida nocturna cerca , ocupa coche para moverte

Lovely hotel close to the center of Tegucigalpa

I had a very nice stay at Hotel Mac Arthur. The rooms are very clean, the property is very well taken care of, the breakfast was great, and the location is not too far from the center of Tegucigalpa. My only note is the young man at the front desk, Elmer. He could be more welcoming and polite but overall I have no complaints.

Safety and cleanliness in an unappealing location

Tegucigalpa is not the greatest place in the world and the area where this hotel is doesn't feel any different. We didn't feel safe in the area but the hotel itself felt safe and clean. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was simple. We were super glad they had it tho because there wasn't a nice place around to eat anyway. We walked around and saw the churches and squares. Plaza Dona Leona is a steep walk up but in the same street as MacArtur and was a wonderful place to see the city.
