"Location was ideal for our trip- just walking around Antigua. The pool was nice and we liked our room a lot. We were charged an additional fee in cash USD upon arrival (40 bucks) and then they wanted bills in better condition and I was confused about that and we had ri go through all of my bag to find acceptable bills. Breakfast is often included but it wasn’t on our reservation- my understanding is because we booked through Expedia. "

"The gardens and atmosphere are amazing! 10/10! Wonderful place to stay. Lower expectations about the staff with the restaurant and bar if you come from the USA, they move at a different pace, relative to the rest of Guatemala. So plan accordingly when ordering drinks and food, also don’t order directly from the bar, use the waitress/waiter the bartender will deliberately overcharge you for drinks. Again I highly recommend the hotel because it is amazing, just be aware and expect a relaxed service and atmosphere."

"Very noisy rooms on the first floor near the pool. Noise from restrooms, restaurant, and pool area. Non-guests can buy day passes, making it crowded during the day. Pool not very clean."

"The property is great . very much resort experience. Appreciate the ambeience as well. There were a couple of issues for us like 1. barely any options for vegans 2. the drinks at the pool side bar on thursday were really bad - compared to the Blue Bar which we indulged in the previous 2 nights"

"This property is perfectly located just a block away from the Santa Catalina Arch and may other landmarks like the San Jose Cathedral and park. A Starbucks on the corner which was a plus. Overall great stay. When I come back to Antigua definitely staying there again. I traveled with my mom and aunt and they enjoyed their stayed as well."
