"Wonderful breakfast and service in the restaurant. Manager Lotti was extremely helpful in arranging transportation and tours. House keeping did a nice job of making my room inviting at all times. Thank you for an excellent stay! Scott Stevens/ USA "

"The Dar el Jeld is like visiting a fancy aunt's house. My Tunisian friend pointed out the vessels that her grandmother would have used to make rose water or store couscous and I noticed the inclusion of local plants (jasmine, prickly pear) in the decor. It was a delight for the senses and we would have stayed more than the two nights if the hotel wasn't already fully booked. The hotel van pick-up was super helpful. Although we were not able to have a late check-out, the hotel did hold our luggage for us, which was much appreciated. Guests are instructed to arrange with the spa and restaurants directly, instead of the front desk. "

"Essentially a brand new and modern hotel. Located less than 3/4 of a mile from the middle of downtown Tunis. Easy to walk to Tunis Marine (about 20-minutes). Great staff!"

"An amazing stay with exceptional flexibility and helpfulness throughout, from check-in to check-out. The charming old mansion, nestled in the heart of Tunis, boasts a beautiful garden that’s perfect for relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the fresh citronnade was a refreshing touch. We’ll definitely be back! The only downside is that the stairs might be a bit challenging for elderly guests, but everything else was perfect....merci again "
