"The house is clean and tidy. All basic needs are provided for. Great bathroom and kitchen. Everything is great. The property is a perfect place for when you need to get away and switch off from the noises of the city. The big fenced grassed ground is perfect for our dog to run around, she loves it. "We had a wonderful stay in Kawhia - Patsy’s bach is the perfect place for a lovely weekend get away. Plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous garden with lots of sun to enjoy. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space)."

"My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!"

"An absolutely beautiful place, equipped with everything you need and more. We loved the outdoor/indoor set up and the eco-bathroom. The views from the deck & outdoor bath are incredible and it was very peaceful. Jan was really welcoming and made us feel right at home! Hope to be back one day!"
