Te Arai Reserve Tours and Activities

Probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at! I'm going to make this place my go to when visiting Auckland for work or play :) Super lovely lady at reception , and from there it was just the loveliest experience for my two days. Fabulous mid-century/retro styled decor which was soooo nicely curated and with all the mod cons you could want. The owners/renovators clearly have a great eye! Parking included which was a bonus, and so handy to everywhere . Comfy bed, puffy duvet and lovely shower. I was travelling solo this time so I only booked a small room, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they revamp the bigger family rooms. I'd say this would have to be one of the best value-for money accom options on Auckland!

Bedside lamp not working. TV unable to get streaming services and was stuck on "deaf" mode so told you everything happening in the movie and we couldn't turn it off. Shower head was in an odd spot making half the shower space redundant and water sprays out the door. Soap scum on the glass of the shower - needs better cleaning. Using disposable plates and cutlery to "save water". Didn't like that at all. Wouldn't stay here again.

Really long queue in the morning for breakfast. Waited almost 35mins in line. Really crowded and noisy. The pool/spa is not relaxing as there are screaming children when you’re getting a spa treatment done. Check in is crowded with conferences and big groups. Not a relaxing stay. Wouldn’t recommend for couples or a quiet staycation.
