"We just spent five weeks in Japan and are still talking about the food we ate here. It is nothing short of spectacular. We paid quadruple at other ryokans and this one had the best food, best location and the best onsens. It’s an older place with older, big onsens and for us that was the charm of it. "Everything is pretty good. It's near transportation (JR station and the central bus station). Hotel is connected to a shopping mall with variety of food choices (even the food court is well visiting - visited the food court more than the other restaurants). Room is clean and spacious for a couple. There's a laundry area with <10 washers and dryers..iirc - some machines are combined wash dry while some were separate wash/dry (probably 3 sets). There were many travellers using them even during the night (11pm ) when we were there and we had to queue for it. No doubt enjoyed my stay and would be better if there's a private onsen. "
