"We loved our stay at the Palazzo in Nelson. We had a nice quiet room and the tips on where to eat and what to see were very much appreciated. Would stay here again in future."
"Our go to for Nelson breaks. Always friendly reception. All ammenities we could ask for in a brief stay. So handy to just walk into town or to dining and events in the evening."
"Kimi Ora is its own unique eco-resort, and it does it well! Fantastic facilities with multiple pools and saunas to choose from, and despite being fully booked, did not feel overcrowded at any point of the stay. Guests are respectful of the peaceful atmosphere and the location is perfect for a short but satisfying get away. Breakfast is the perfect amount of choice, everything fresh and delicious."
"Our sunny, upstairs 1 bedroom unit was spacious and clean. The jet bath and kitchenette were great. There appears to be enough parks for each unit. We were within walking distance to a few restuarants and 3 fast food places.
The host made us aware of some road noise in the front units. So if you are a light sleep request a quiet room. The unit was exactly like the photos. We would stay here again."
"While the property is well presented and the rooms and housekeeping very good, the same cannot be said about the staff.
The front desk reception staff member spent over 10 minutes on a phone call before acknowledging my presence (and another guest checking in at the same time) and providing the room key. The staff in general around the property seem very ambivalent - customer service is certainly not part of their mantra."
