"Very professional staff. Beautiful hotel. Nice breakfast buffet. They stored our suitcases free of charge for four days while we tramped the trails. Would definitely go back! "
The Studio with water views

"This is a nice ‘Bach’ type apartment with a lovely view over the nearby hills.
Inside it was clean and had good amenities.
It is part of a building used for art and craft , the ‘frost and fire’ gallery.
Unfortunately while we were there the kiln shed next door was in use, which meant the occasional whiff of smoke from the kilns when the wind changed direction, and sound and voices coming from it throughout the first night as it was being used.
There are ‘water views’ but definitely in the distance, and mainly mud flats when the tide is out.
The views though are nice of the hills, and there is a nice out door sitting area.
There is a fast main road near the property and the noise from out does detract from the tranquil vibe.
There is a nice waterfront town ‘Mapua’ nearby with a decent brewery pub. "

"Nice and clear instructions for my late check in, room was clean and functional with well equipped kitchen. It is very close to a busy road, but there is not much traffic during the night so not a big problem. Close to a nice beach and good restaurants (but avoid the “Italian” nearby, it's terrible. Nice stay!
