"What a beautiful, convenient apartment! We stayed for one night before our cruise. Our host was excellent and very accommodating. He explained everything, showed us places nearby like restaurants and stores as well as where to meet the shuttle bus for our cruise. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. "We had such a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment—it was incredibly comfortable and perfectly located, making it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. One of our favorite finds was the market just a short walk away—definitely don’t miss it! Getting to the cruise line shuttles was also quick and easy. "Great place for my family of 5. Good location before my cruise. Host was friendly and helpful. I would stay again. Things to note:There was an elevator (although slow but better than not having one). They did not provide bath toiletries or laundry detergent (but maybe that’s a European thing). No dryer so walked our laundry nearby. Kitchen supplies were minimal, for example, I had to cook eggs with a ladle (no spatula). A/c was only in the bedrooms so the living room and kitchen during summer...

"Great location for the Civitavecchia cruise port. It's a 10 minute ride to the ship and the town is really set up well for cruisers. The room had a fun and funky interior design, and was spotless. The owners were very accommodating. The only down side is the room is on the 3rd floor of the building, with no elevator. In Italy that means 6 flights of marble stairs. "The air conditioning was not the best. I understand turning it off during the because of electricity prices, but in a hot summer like this year, for travellers just arriving from overseas for a cruise and needing a nap, it was hard to sleep. The restaurant has a huge menu and the food and wine were good and not expensive. Allesandro was great. He is a great hotel manager. He helped us get a ride to the cruise port and to arrange a ride when we return from the cruise to go to the Rome airport."

"The hotel is very well located on the main road directly across from the boardwalk along the water. You can walk to the train station, many restaurants and the grocery store. There is no 'free' water station in the hotel lobby. The hotel staff at check in spoke perfect English and were very professional and helpful. We arrived earlier than check in so they held our luggage in a locked room. We booked 2 sea view rooms; they were clean and spacious. The hotel itself could so with some general maintenance to fix wear to walls and doors etc. We had large balconies facing the sea side however, the patio furniture was not in good shape and didn't leave you wanting to enjoy the space outside. The AC worked well. There were large closets with lots of space. The breakfast buffet was really good with lots of choices including pastries, meat, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. We stayed pre-cruise for 2 nights. They can organize paid shuttles to the cruise terminal for you. We walked to the Largo Della Pacce main cruise shuttle hub and boarded the free Princess shuttle to the terminal from there. All in all, good value for money at a well located hotel with kind and helpful staff."
