The Casita at La Posada de Taos is your little getaway two blocks away from Taos Plaza. A one bedroom with single pull out couch sleeps 2 adults in elegant comfort. Please note that our beautiful fireplaces are non- functional. Enjoy the private and enclosed patio. La Posada de Taos offers many unique spaces available for larger parties, from a one room boutique hotel room to a 3 bedroom historic and luxurious home. Lush shared courtyards are also yours to use just steps away from your front porch. Wifi, complimentary coffee and tea.

This Casita is a newly renovated historic adobe and just a two block stroll to downtown Taos. Walk to restaurants, museums and art galleries or stay in and enjoy a meal and wine on the private patio or shared courtyard at La Posada de Taos.

La Posada de Taos hosts several unique spaces to rent for larger groups up to 25 guests. Please ask how we can host your family or group for your next gathering.

Rooms are decorated in a romantic southwestern style. The decor in the home compliments the Southwest exterior.

Wood beam ceilings, hand-carved furniture, local and national art and artifacts complete the look in this warm and friendly atmosphere of casual elegance.

The house is a one bedroom and has a new king size memory-foam mattress, a closet, dresser and television with cable. There is a full bath with sink and a corner tub, cozy living room, newly refinished wooden floors, Navajo rugs and a sofa that pulls out to sleep ONE child more. Please not the fireplace is for decoration purposes only. It is not in working order .


The private patio has seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails.

La Posada de Taos maintains a lush courtyard that you are welcome to share during your stay. Enjoy your time in the landscaped area just a few steps away from your private retreat.

Such a lovely casita! Would definitely stay here again. WA and inviting NM décor, big bed, well-appointed living room. Super quiet and a quick walk to all the shops and plaza.

Great Stay

Such a cute place and more room and storage than expected. It was a quick walk into town for shopping and food and an easy drive up to the mountains to ski. Enjoyed the extra touch of having coffee and a few snacks for us. We will definitely stay again when it’s warmer so we can enjoy the patio next time.

Quiet and cozy

Located just a five minute walk from the Taos Plaza this cozy unit was perfect for my wife and I. Parking was right in front of the unit and it had a little patio that was perfect for breakfast. We would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

The casita was adorable and the perfect location to the shops and restaurants in the plaza. We walked from the casita to the plaza each day, which was very convenient. Louisa met us as we were coming in and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Taos Casita Retreat

The property had nicely done Southwest character and was very clean. It was conveniently located two blocks from the plaza and we did lots of walking.The refrigerator was great for keeping beverages and snacks in and the coffee tasted great too!Bathtub was nice for soaking in as I did get sore from so much walking !
