Need’s updating. Towels, bedding, and furniture were dingy. Every lamp shade was dusty. Cute little prairie dog habitat behind the building but even that was sad because it was littered with trash.
Expedia and Wyndham should be ashamed of themselves for offering this location and not knowing what a wreck this place is. Makes me concerned about using Expedia again. Nearly $200 a night for a dump. Unsanitary breakfast area was the final straw. Had to go elsewhere for coffee and breakfast. Don’t even ask about the “room”. A homeless shelter would have been a better choice.

Just not a very well run property. The room was comfortable enough but seems that there was a lot of shady activity going on. The actual site of the hotel really needed to be cleaned up too. The highlight was watching the prairie dogs run around in the back.
I stayed two nights and will not come again. The first night I had very little hot water, in the morning I had none. A cold shower in Taos in the winter is not fun!! The room itself was clean, the hallways were not. The rugs were dirty and torn. It was difficult to open doors. The outside grounds were full of weeds and trash. The breakfast was unacceptable. You could make a waffle and have a bowl of cold cereal. There were two kinds of juice. If you wanted milk you used a large jug (meaning everyone was handling it). On the buffet the forks and knives were standing up so you had to touch the tines. The spoons were facing down. I was compensated 40.00 for lack of hot water. Some of the help was helpful, others help was not in their vocabulary. I will not stay there again.
The toilet water tank was leaking every time when flushed. So the bathroom floor was wet all the time. Very noisy and smell of food.

The room was ok, bed was very hard! Had a pool noodle for the door sweep. Their breakfast was a joke. Nasty waffles and some cereal were the only offerings, and the kitchen area was a mess. They blamed it on COVID, but our friends stayed down the street and had a very nice complementary breakfast.
Overpriced for the condition and the service. The hotel needs serious updating. Heating/cooling unit worked but made a horrible noise thru which was hard to sleep. The breakfast options were cold cereal and look-warm coffee.
Worst stay of my 10 day road trip. Clerk acted like he didn’t want to even be there. Dusty room. Hard bed was fine for me though. Just not a very nice piece of property. Dead foliage in planters. Cigarette buts all over and 170 dollar price tag! Yikes. And it’s affiliated with Wyndham hotels! Very disappointed
Front desk Lady was rude! Room was dirty. God knows when the room was last sweeped. Let alone mopped. There was stuff under chair. I Disinfected the whole room with wipes. Believe me well needed. The dressers drawer where dirty. With dead bugs. Spiders in room. I will not ever stay there again.
The concert we were going to attend was cancelled due to COVID. Wyndham Days Inn Taos would not give us a refund or even a chance to stay again at a later date. I will never stay at this hotel again. Very bad customer service policy.
Overall outside looks of this place look like it was condemned. The bed weren’t fixed properly and the breakfast I wouldn’t dare eat. Never go there sgain
BathroomSmelled like urine and I told the guy who was working that the room smelled like urine and he told me that he would go ahead and give me my refund without trying to offer other options.
Bugs in shower, unlocked hallway doors, little to no breakfast options at 7:20 AM both mornings - (which is why we choose this place), outlets at sink didn't work half the time, had to toggle with room door to ensure secure closure, pool noodle doorway buffers, and dirty carpet through out the hallway
The hotel was in a good location and the room was a good space, but cleaning wise it was AWFUL! there was dirt and food stains on the floor from who knows when, the shower curtain was gross, the lamps and tables were dusty, the mirrors with stains. The WiFi was very spotty, the tv was super small and the signal went down a lot. overall, it wasn’t great!
We had to sleep on a roll up bed on headboard. Room not clean. Complimentary breakfast was horrible. They didn't speak English and could not help with any services like getting extra towels.👎

The room was clean and moderately comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise considering the grungy appearance of the exterior and common areas.
Minimal design style, just a shoebox with a portico, but the manager was friendly and the room was pleasant. Indeed the room was spanking clean, no unpleasant smells, and linens were totally clean and fresh. Microwave didn't work, but the refrigerator did. Good selection of cable TV channels. Very easy access on main road through Taos.
We were so uncomfortable in this hotel. The back building door was unlocked. The carpet in the hallway had a huge stain. The toilet was dirty. That was even after we asked to change rooms. We didn’t pick this hotel initially as the other place we had a reservation and confirmation at said they overbooked; they blamed hotels.com. Do yourself a favor, do NOT stay there.
This place is disgusting, unsanitary and should be condemned. This type of place poorly reflects on Taos. There was wet tissue by my car in the parking lot this morning. Last night I heard something outside the unsecure window and the hallway ground level outside door, which is not locked. Looking out the window, was more tp and human excrement. The wet tissue was never got cleaned up and I doubt that the human excrement visible from my window won't be either. Don't stay here, nothing is clean and I wouldn't doubt that homeless people sleep in the hallway. Zero pride here at almost $300/2 nights. Only affordable thing I could find last minute. So if this is the only affordable place last minute, suck it up and drop big bucks to stay somewhere decent or continue on to the next town. I can't wait to check out and am staying up until it gets light and I'm out of this dump.
I was scared at first because of all the negative reviews I saw online, but the hotel was very clean (but old) and the staff was nice. My only real complaint was, it was noisy and I could hear everything in the hallway.
Rooms were nicely renovated, but the lobby, breakfast offerings and that were that of a 1-star hotel.

Dirty Room
I'm sending pics, the room was not clean, I had to go to the store and buy some cleaning suppies, the bathtub was dirty, hair was in there, toilet was dirty, dirty socks under the bed and nightstand, dusty dressers, overall the room was not representable for guests, took a pic of the nightstand with stains on it so we don't get blamed.
The property is in very poor condition. Security is very poor the back door had no lock and antyone could enter at will. . My wife felt very unsafe. When we arrived the Wyndham brand was not visible from the outside. After we entered the place I could see why.

Average for a small hotel.
Just down from Walmart, and a couple miles from down town Taos. Hallway carpet need replacing; continental breakfast was minimal due to Covid (cereal only, coffee in room). Room was clean but hotel needs some upgrading. Parking easy and near entrance.
